A Showroom Sales Consultant is responsible for selling and recommending products to their customers that meet or exceed their expectations. They are the conduit between the customer and Nicklas Supply &ndash; SPLASH. The role always requires a professional and courteous approach with the goal of making customers feel important and valued. The ideal candidate is passionate about luxury design, excels in client interactions, and thrives in a collaborative, high-end showroom environment.Duties and Responsibilities&middot; Professionally and enthusiastically assist prospects and customers with a high level of professionalism under any circumstance&middot; Offer superior customer service and cultivate relationships with clients, remodelers, designers, builders, and architects to sell and develop future business utilizing effective selling skills&middot; Utilize strong interpersonal skills, selling skills, active listening, professional attitude, and represent the company with integrity and professionalism&middot; Provide customers with design layout with accurate square footage&middot; Maintain customer and contractor contact from design to delivery to ensure customer satisfaction&middot; Build and maintain a high level of product knowledge&middot; Describe product and explain use, operation, and care of product to customers&middot; Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain product based on customer needs and desires&middot; Compute sales prices, total purchases, and receive and process cash or credit payment&middot; Answering questions regarding the store and its product&middot; Prepare sales slips or sales contracts&middot; Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices&middot; Maintain records related to sales&middot; Demonstrate use or operation of product when applicable&middot; Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts and know how to prevent or handle these situations&middot; Exchange product for customers and accept returns according to company policy&middot; Assist in overall upkeep and aesthetic appeal of the showroom by participating in the selection of products and contributing to the design of the showroom vignettes and displays a necessary&middot; Maintain an organized and professional workstation&middot; Attend all mandatory team meetings and company meetings&middot; Commitment to participating and contributing in meetings&middot; Being a team player&middot; Ensure all actions are aligned with the company's vision&middot; Knowledge and understanding of design trends&middot; Use all resources available to research and problem solve&middot; Perform all other duties as assigned.Qualifications&middot; College degree in Interior Design preferred&middot; 5 Years Experience in a Kitchen and Bath Showroom Sales environment&middot; Customer service and sales experience preferred&middot; Strong interpersonal and communication skills (Both verbal and written)&middot; Ability to work independently and in a team environment&middot; Ability to follow instructions&middot; Detail-oriented with good organizational skills&middot; Willingness to learn about sales processes and product lines&middot; Basic computer skills: experience with Microsoft Office is a plus&middot; Professional attitude and appearanceKey Performance Indicators&middot; Conduct business according to mission statement and core values&middot; Demonstrate growing knowledge of products and procedures&middot; Promote a sales culture by building relationships and being service oriented&middot; Provide superior and professional customer service under any circumstancePhysical Requirements and Working Conditions&middot; Periods of sitting, standing, walking&middot; May require lifting, bending, kneeling&middot; Saturday availability is required&middot; Evening hours as needed or required&middot; Fast-paced showroom environmentBenefits&middot; Medical, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability&middot; Paid Time Off and Holidays&middot; 401k with Employer Matching&middot; Employee Stock Ownership Plan - 100% Employee Owned CompanyJob Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>8 hour shift</li><li>Every weekend</li></ul>Supplemental Pay:<ul><li>Bonus opportunities</li><li>Commission pay</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Are you willing to have a drug and background test?</li><li>Are you available to work on Saturday mornings from 8:30-1:00?
