Essential Functions: 
<ul>
<li>Safety</li>
</ul>
o Adheres to all safety guidelines and expectations (wear required PPE, follow safety
 protocols, and report any safety incidents, accidents, and near-misses in a timely
 manner)
 o Familiar with and can locate Safety Data Sheet
 o Understands OSHA’s “Right to Know” Policy
 <ul>
<li>5S</li>
</ul>
o Follow 5S procedure and guidance
 o Keep work area clean at all times
 <ul>
<li>Product Quality</li>
</ul>
o Good understanding of the NIFCO Quality Policy
 o Identification and handling of non-conforming products
 o Skill to read, understand, and verify part quality to the “Part Quality Standard” prior to
 reaching out to Quality Department for mass production start approval
 o Visual inspection checks for part nonconformity (color, flash, spots, shorts, damage, etc.)
 o Inform Molding Supervisor and/or Process Technicians when nonconformity is found
 <ul>
<li>Production Preparation and Start-up</li>
</ul>
o Perform mold and material changes and fill out necessary documentation
 o Perform start-up of press
 o Produce a 1st Piece Production part sample for Quality Approval
 o Ensure Level 1 Preventive Maintenance on tooling and machine are completed per
 documented work instructions
 o Ensure equipment process and product quality meets documented internal standards
 o Assist Machine Operator and Material Handler as needed with day-to-day issues
 <ul>
<li>Other Duties</li>
</ul>
o Ensure the IATF16949 (latest revision) standard related to Manufacturing are followed
 o Other assigned tasks by Molding Supervisor or Production Manager as needed
 
Education: 
<ul>
<li>Highschool Diploma or GED</li>
</ul>
Skills/Experience/Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>Must complete all safety and environmental trainings required</li>
</ul>
(e.g.: Lock-out-Tag-out, HAZCOM, Blood Borne Pathogens, Sexual Harassment)
 <ul>
<li>Must be certified to operate cranes</li>
<li>Preferred with minimum 1 year experience in mold setting</li>
<li>Knowledge and skill to conduct mold change and machine start-up</li>
<li>Basic skills to set-up part picker</li>
<li>Able to perform Level 1 Mold Preventative Maintenance</li>
</ul>
