We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with over 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing API interfaces (REST and/or GraphQL), optimizing SQL queries, and API request loads. You will actively contribute to project ideation sessions, support and mentor team members, and work with peers to shape best practices and standards. A passion for learning new technologies and introducing them where appropriate is essential. You should have a proven track record of working with Python, Django, and relational databases such as MySQL, as well as experience designing and optimizing API solutions. 
Job Description

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with Python and Django framework</li><li>

Experience with distributed systems and message queues (e.g., Celery)</li><li>
Familiarity with AWS services (Fargate, ECS, OpenSearch, Lambda)</li><li>
Front-end development skills (React.js, AntD, Redux/Apollo)</li><li>
Knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns</li><li>
Familiarity with test-driven development and source control systems (Git)</li><li>

Job Description 
Your Role 
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our platform&rsquo;s findability and discovery features. This position requires comfort and proficiency in both frontend and backend development, with the ability to switch focus based on project priorities.<ul><li>
Writing high-quality, maintainable code for both frontend and backend systems.</li><li>
Actively participating in technical discussions, proposing solutions, and contributing to system design to ensure robustness and performance.</li><li>
Working closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure a shared understanding of project goals.</li><li>
Designing and improving existing systems to be robust and performant.</li><li>
Implementing and improving testing capabilities by writing Unit tests, end-to-end tests, and contract tests, aligning with our team&rsquo;s commitment to Test-Driven Development (TDD).</li><li>
Proactively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>
Actively manage technical debt with a roadmap-aligned approach to ensure long-term maintainability.</li><li>
Pair with teammates and conduct code reviews.</li><li>

Expected Type of Work 
One of our significant ongoing projects involves enhancing the search experience, an ever-evolving endeavor where we make decisions based on real data to focus on the most impactful areas. This includes adding new filter capabilities, by interfacing with Salesforce. Additionally, we are implementing the ability for users to search by the number of customers, which involves interfacing with the Elastic Search cluster of a different internal tool while updating the frontend to provide a clear UX. 
Qualifications 
Tech Stack<ul><li>
Languages: TypeScript (for both frontend and backend)</li><li>

Backend: Node.js, Serverless, NextJS</li><li>
Databases: Elastic Search / OpenSearch, SQL</li><li>
