The Workforce Planning Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting workforce data to develop strategic plans that ensure the organization has the right skills and talent to meet its business objectives. This position will work closely with Human Resources and business leaders to implement workforce planning initiatives that drive success.
What you'll be doing day-to-day...
Workforce Optimization/Capacity Planning<ul><li>
Owns overall capacity planning for the international team. This includes tracking initiatives in HR/Operations to improve retention/productivity</li><li>
Partner with the VP of Analytics on preparing and configuring the COGs modeling as part of capacity planning</li><li>
Develop and guide a consistent workforce planning framework for the international team</li><li>
Product Owner of Prohance, a productivity management tool. This includes owning and managing the vendor relationship, partnering with leadership to drive adoption, proactive communication usage, and identifying areas of focus for leadership while also leveraging productivity KPI's and metrics to provide insight into capacity planning and share insights with leadership.</li><li>
Manage the implementation of short-term and long-term workforce planning initiatives to ensure the business has the right mix of skills and expertise to meet current and future demands</li><li>
Analyze workforce data, trends, and metrics to make data-driven decisions in the development of workforce strategies, understanding how changes in the workforce may impact different areas of the business</li><li>
Ensure the cleanliness of position control for nimble international positions, tracking against budget, aligning, and capturing approvals for roles outside of budget</li><li>
Extract and consolidate business change drivers and present to RCM leadership, CHRO, and key stakeholders.</li><li>
Participate in broader projects associated with workforce optimization and transformation.</li></ul>
Strategic Planning<ul><li>
Lead facilitated discussions and sessions with leaders regarding the workforce planning process, working closely with leaders to optimize resource allocation and utilization</li><li>
Partner with HR to provide insights into workforce programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention, establishing client-focused solutions and continuous quality improvement</li><li>
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align staffing levels with production goals and service delivery requirements, developing contingency plans to address unexpected fluctuations in staffing needs</li><li>
Partner with HR, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and insights to support short-term and long-term strategic workforce plans</li><li>
Manage and facilitate change with department leadership teams through the implementation of proactive strategies and workforce plans</li><li>
Oversee the operationalization of workforce plans through organizational change, continuous improvements, and change management</li><li>
Identify challenges within the workforce planning process and employ effective solutions</li><li>
Lead, liaise, or participate in projects initiated by workforce planning outcomes</li><li>
Ensure workforce planning practices comply with legal requirements and company policy</li><li>
Report on workforce planning initiatives, news, and updates in a clear and timely manner to the RCM leadership and CHRO, outlining progress, themes, and outcomes. Forecasting, Data Analysis, and Continuous Improvement</li><li>
Implement forecasting models to predict future workforce scenario planning based on business needs, historical data, and industry trends</li><li>
Collaborate with department leaders to understand upcoming projects, operational goals, and changes in workflow that will affect and inform workforce planning scenarios related to staffing requirements and fluctuations in demand</li><li>
Create workforce plans to address talent gaps and anticipate future skills requirements, aligned with company imperatives and objectives</li><li>
Partner regularly with department leadership to identify key roles, developing future-focused action plans that ensure continuity of service and leadership</li><li>
Manage the analysis of team member data to determine workforce trends and needs around recruitment, retention, retirements, turnover, etc</li><li>
Lead initiatives to enhance workforce planning processes and methodologies regularly</li><li>
Define and measure success metrics that provide strategic insight and measure change progress</li><li>
Evaluate the effectiveness of existing forecasting tools and systems, recommending and implementing improvements</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in business, business, analytics, or a related field</li><li>
3-5 years of experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, or a similar role</li><li>
Strong data analysis and reporting skills</li><li>
Proficient in using HR and workforce planning software.</li><li>
Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li><li>
Understanding of HR policies, practices, and employment laws</li></ul>
