This is a high‑impact role&mdash;you are part of the team that clients rely on when they need help, guidance, and fast resolution.This position involves remote support from our Denville, NJ office as well as onsite client visits when required.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Helpdesk &amp; Support<ul><li>Provide Tier 1&ndash;2 technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote tools</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365, email, workstation, and connectivity issues</li><li>Deliver timely, professional, and empathetic client support</li><li>Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining ownership through resolution</li></ul>Microsoft &amp; Cloud Technologies<ul><li>Support and administer:</li><li>Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint)</li><li>Microsoft Exchange 365</li><li>Microsoft Hypervisor / Hyper‑V (basic support)</li><li>Microsoft Lighthouse (MSP tenant management)</li><li>Assist with user onboarding/offboarding and license management</li><li>Support and enforce security and access policies</li></ul>Apple &amp; Endpoint Management<ul><li>Support MacOS and Apple devices in business environments</li><li>Work with:</li><li>Apple Business Manager</li><li>MDM solutions</li><li>Assist with device enrollment, configuration, and troubleshooting</li></ul>Tools &amp; Platforms<ul><li>Remote monitoring and management using NinjaOne</li><li>Documentation and knowledge base maintenance in Hudu</li><li>Assist with automation, scripting, and process improvement where applicable</li></ul>Networking &amp; Infrastructure (Basic)<ul><li>Troubleshoot basic networking issues:</li><li>Ubiquiti networking equipment</li><li>Fortinet firewalls and access points</li><li>Understand VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and basic firewall rules</li><li>Coordinate with senior engineers for advanced network issues</li></ul>Generative AI &amp; Modern IT Practices<ul><li>Use and support Generative AI tools such as:</li><li>Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude</li><li>Leverage AI internally to improve efficiency and documentation</li></ul>Client &amp; Professional Expectations<ul><li>Serve as a trusted technical resource for clients</li><li>Communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical users</li><li>Represent ProactiveRISK professionally during onsite visits and meetings</li><li>Maintain accurate ticket notes and documentation</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Experinced IT support or helpdesk experience (MSP experience preferred)</li><li>Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments</li><li>Experience supporting MacOS in business environments</li><li>Familiarity with MDM and endpoint management</li><li>Solid troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills</li><li>Excellent customer service and communication skills</li><li>Reliable transportation for onsite client visits</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>MSP or MSSP experience</li><li>Familiarity with:</li><li>NinjaOne</li><li>Hudu</li><li>Microsoft Lighthouse</li><li>Ubiquiti and Fortinet environments</li><li>Interest in cybersecurity best practices</li><li>Experience using Generative AI tools in IT workflows</li><li>Veteran, First Responder A++</li></ul>Why Join ProactiveRISK?<ul><li>Be a trusted, front‑line technical resource for clients</li><li>Work with modern Microsoft, Apple, and security‑focused environments</li><li>Exposure to cybersecurity, compliance, and regulated industries</li><li>Opportunity for growth into senior engineer or security‑focused roles</li><li>Work with a small, experienced team where your contributions matter</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>Occasional onsite client visits during business hours</li></ul>Pay: $40,960.00 - $51,200.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
