<div><div><div><div><div><div><b>SUMMARY:</b> Under the direction of the Supervisor, Talent Acquisition, contributes to the effective operation of the hospital by managing and recruiting all aspects of national and local recruitment / sourcing efforts to fill critical, difficult and visible positions within NKC Health. Collaborates with leadership, hiring managers and sourcing team to maintain a cost-effective recruiting process that will provide continuous, high quality staffing for the hospital. Serves as a talent advisor, establishing effective recruitment strategies to achieve talent needs in the full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, closing top talent and onboarding. Partners with and guides hiring managers regarding staffing issues, helps with workforce planning and various sourcing events. This is a hybrid position working in the office three days per week and remote two days per week once the training period is completed.<br>

<b>EXPERIENCE:</b> 2+ years of prior recruiting experience, Hospital experience is highly preferred. Sourcing experience a plus.<br>

<p><b>What are the typical hours on the job?</b></p>
<p>The hours of operation for the <b>North Kansas City </b>clinic are Monday-Friday<b>, 8am-5pm. </b>Your primary schedule will be during those hours, with periodic need to work outside your schedule to serve our patients.
</p><p><b>What does a Patient Service Representative do?</b></p>
<p>As a patient service representative, you will perform front office duties, focusing on customer service and billing accuracy and efficiency.</p>
<p><b>What does a typical day on the job look like?</b></p>
<ul><li>Completes patient registration and eligibility verification accurately and in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Demonstrates positive customer service attitude in person and on the telephone.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Informs patients of their co-pay/deductible responsibility, collects co-payments and patient balances and records payments accurately. Checks patients out and assists patients with scheduling follow up appointments. Coordinates receipt and transfer of patient medical records in a HIPAA-compliant manner.
</li><li>Schedules appointments efficiently to meet provider and patient expectations. Searches for patients using two patient identifiers to reduce errors and to avoid creating duplicate accounts.
</li><li>Demonstrates positive customer service attitude in person and on the telephone.</li>
<li>Demonstrates professionalism by articulating and demonstrating professional behavior, accepting responsibility and accountability for actions, adhering to policies and procedures, demonstrating leadership supporting NKC Health initiatives.</li>

<p><b>What are the requirements for the job?</b></p>
<ul><li>High School diploma or GED equivalent</li>
<li>Two years of experience in a physician&rsquo;s office or healthcare setting</li>
<li>Customer service skills</li>
<li>Basic office skills</li>
<li>CPT and diagnosis coding experience is a plus</li>

Assisting with advanced GI procedures such as EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, EUS, manometry, Fibro Scan, PillCam, Bravo, and HALO. <b>Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul><li>Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, RN, LPN, you will play a vital role in the care of patients by performing basic nursing care and support tasks on assigned units.</li>
<li>Provide patient care such as: ambulation, bathing, toileting, obtaining vital signs, all while maintaining a safe environment.</li>
<li>Provide pre-operative and post-operative recovery care, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and comfort.</li>
<li>Demonstrate effective communication skills to accurately convey patient information to RN, LPN and other members of the team in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Demonstrate basic computer skills to accurately record vital patient information.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Experience:</b> Hospital experience-<b>Preferred</b><br>
