 Responsibilities
 
 
 &bull;Maintain and coordinate repair of machinery and equipment to ensure their optimal working condition
 
 
 &bull; Liaise with vessels&rsquo; captain and crew &amp; shore personnel to ensure schedules and budgets are maintained and vessels are operated safely and efficiently
 
 
 &bull; Monitor and co-ordinate the planned maintenance system of hull and deck engines on a regular basis
 
 
 &bull; Ensure thorough upkeep of stores and control engine room spare parts
 
 
 &bull; Responsible for co-ordination of services, maintenance orders and consumables inventory
 
 
 &bull; Ensure that the manning resources and dry-docking requirements are fully met to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs
 
 
 &bull; Conduct follow up surveys on each vessel and communicate findings to Port Captain
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 
 &bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent
 
 
 &bull; Minimum 05 years of related work experience in similar industries
