 Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Study tender documentation to gain a comprehensive understanding of technical and commercial requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluate project scope and construction methodologies to align proposals with client expectations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate the preparation of invitation-to-bid packages for suppliers and subcontractors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluate bids both commercially and technically, and assist in compiling bid tabulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Recommend preferred suppliers/subcontractors based on evaluation outcomes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend client meetings with the Manager to address queries related to commercial and technical aspects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide technical insights and solutions to enhance proposal competitiveness.
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaise with all departments involved in the estimation process to ensure coordination and consolidation of activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with technical, commercial, and legal teams to integrate inputs into proposal documents.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare a comprehensive synopsis of tender requirements, including terms of payment, insurance, liabilities, warranties, liquidated damages, and bonds.
 </li>
 <li>
 Consult with the Legal Advisor to ensure compliance and protect NMDC&rsquo;s interests.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collate and prepare technical and commercial proposals in accordance with client specifications and requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Submit proposals to the Manager for thorough review and sign-off before submission to clients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare technical and commercial documents following the award of contracts for handover to the Project Manager, Project Controls, and relevant operational departments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure seamless transition and clarity on project requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Interact with relevant departments for the review of contract terms and conditions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise the activities of Proposal Engineers and Junior Proposal Engineers, providing advice and professional guidance as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with Estimators and Budget Controllers to assess cost impacts and review estimates before management approval.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure efficient pricing strategies and cost competitiveness in proposals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all proposal activities comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Uphold NMDC&rsquo;s HSE policies and procedures throughout the proposal lifecycle.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend site visits as required to gather relevant project information and insights.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to address project-specific requirements.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Education/Experience:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
 </li>
 <li>
 At least 8 years of experience in a similar role within the industry.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in heavy civil and infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
 </li>
 </ul>

Senior Proposal Engineer

 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Prepare Daily Progress Reports in Liaison with Site Engineers/ Managers
 </li>
 <li>
 Update the Daily Reporting Database
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare the Weekly/Monthly Reports in Liaison with Project Control Manager
 </li>
 <li>
 Create various customized programmes to improve the reporting systems of the Project
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist the Project Control Manager/ Engineering Manager / Sr. Project Engineers for evaluating the Progress Trends of various Major Activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in updating the Progress Drawings for the project in collaboration with Survey / Drafting Department
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications/Experience:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Three-Year Technical Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 05 years' experience of Reporting works in related industries
 </li>
 <li>
 Preferably with experience in heavy civil and infrastructure projects.
 </li>

Reporting Engineer

 Review project specifications, BOQs, and drawings to identify procurement requirements during tender stage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and send RFQs/RFPs to vendors and subcontractors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze vendor quotations for compliance with technical specifications and commercial terms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible pricing, delivery timelines, and terms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluate and prepare comparative statements for technical and commercial bids.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop preliminary procurement plans and cost estimates to support tender submissions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and maintain a qualified supplier and subcontractor database.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with engineering and estimating teams to ensure alignment between procurement and project execution strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support post-award procurement and subcontracting activities as needed.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualification and Experience:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline).
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, tendering, or engineering roles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of procurement and tendering processes in construction industry.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with international procurement standards and vendor qualification processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in procurement software and tools (SAP, Oracle, MS Excel, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
 </li>
