To conduct geotechnical investigations, supervise laboratory testing of soil, rock, aggregate, and construction materials, analyze results, and provide technical recommendations to ensure the quality and stability of construction projects.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct soil, rock, aggregate, and concrete laboratory tests (SPT, Atterberg limits, compaction, CBR, triaxial, direct shear, permeability, etc.).</li></ul><ul><li>Supervise lab technicians and ensure accuracy in testing.</li></ul><ul><li>Analyze test data and prepare geotechnical reports.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with IS/ASTM/BS standards and project specifications.</li></ul><ul><li>Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate with site teams for sampling and ground investigation.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain proper documentation of test results and certifications.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (M.Tech preferred).</li></ul><ul><li>3&ndash;7 years&rsquo; experience in geotechnical lab &amp; field testing.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong knowledge of soil mechanics and foundation engineering.</li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with geotechnical software (PLAXIS, GeoStudio &ndash; preferred).</li></ul>Good analytical, reporting, and team coordination skills.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From &#8377;25,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Food provided</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Selaiyur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person

Geotechnical Engineer – Laboratory

Job Purpose:To support the laboratory in conducting routine and specialized tests on soil, aggregates, concrete, and cement, ensuring accurate results in compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.Key Responsibilities:Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests on:Soil: SPT sample handling, moisture content, Atterberg limits, compaction, direct shear, triaxial, permeability, etc.Aggregates: Gradation, impact value, crushing value, flakiness &amp; elongation index, specific gravity, water absorption.Concrete &amp; Cement: Slump test, compressive strength, setting time, fineness, cube/cylinder testing.Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory and field testing equipment.Ensure testing is carried out as per IS, ASTM or project-specific specifications.Accurately record, analyze, and report test results.Assist in the preparation of daily and weekly test reports and maintain proper quality documentation.Follow laboratory safety protocols and quality management procedures.Support senior engineers/lab in-charge during audits, inspections, and client visits.Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of lab and testing areas.Qualifications &amp; Skills:Diploma / ITI / B.Sc. (Science/Engineering) with specialization in Civil / Materials preferred.0&ndash;2 years of experience in construction material testing (freshers may also apply).Knowledge of basic laboratory testing standards (IS, ASTM).Basic computer skills (MS Excel/Word for report preparation).Good communication and teamwork skills.Attention to detail, accuracy, and safety consciousness.Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;13,000.00 - &#8377;25,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
