Job Overview We seek a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver/ Med Tech to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the well-being of individuals in various settings such as assisted living facilities, home care, and hospice environments. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality by HIPAA regulations.****Rate will be discussed during the interview****Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and personal hygiene.</li><li>Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.</li><li>Perform catheter care and other medical procedures as necessary.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical documentation and records for each patient.</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.</li><li>Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.</li><li>Support patients with developmental disabilities by providing tailored care and assistance.</li><li>Engage with patients in a compassionate manner, promoting their dignity and comfort during care.</li><li>Collect and process blood, urine, and tissue samples</li><li>Analyze test results and report findings</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong knowledge of senior care practices and principles of patient care.</li><li>Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.</li><li>Experience in home care settings, including assisted living environments.</li><li>Proficiency in catheter care and medication administration techniques.</li><li>Ability to provide hospice care with empathy and respect for patients' needs.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.</li><li>Strong organizational skills for accurate medical documentation and record keeping.</li><li>Compassionate approach towards working with individuals with developmental disabilities.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Certification (e.g., ASCP, NHA)</li><li>State licensure (where applicable)</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li></ul>Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients by providing exceptional medical support and compassionate care!Work Location: In person
