We're currently on the lookout for a talented Short Form Editor who understands digital trends, motion graphics, and how to make scroll-stopping content for brands and creators.Job Overview:We&rsquo;re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Short Form Motion Graphics &amp; Reel Editor with a passion for storytelling, editing, and leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows. The ideal candidate knows how to cut short-form content (Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts), enhance it with motion design, and use AI tools to improve speed, productivity, and content quality.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Reel &amp; Short-Form Editing: Edit engaging and high-quality short videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, including jump cuts, text overlays, transitions, and sound design.</li><li>Motion Graphics: Add branded animation, dynamic captions, lower thirds, and graphic elements to enhance viewer retention.</li><li>Talking Head Videos: Edit founder-led or creator-led content into fast-paced, subtitle-rich formats with engaging hooks.</li><li>AI Tools Integration: Use AI tools (like Descript, Runway, ElevenLabs, ChatGPT, Topaz, Midjourney, etc.) for scripting, auto-captioning, visual generation, upscaling, or cutting down editing time.</li><li>Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the content, design, and social media teams to align edits with the brand's goals and voice.</li><li>Content Optimization: Edit with platform-specific best practices in mind &ndash; different pacing, hooks, and layout depending on the platform.</li><li>Efficiency &amp; Innovation: Bring creative ideas to the table while maintaining speed and quality in delivery.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience: 1&ndash;2 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably in an agency or content-heavy role.</li><li>Software Skills: Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.</li><li>AI-Friendly: Comfort with AI editing/copy tools like Descript, ChatGPT, Runway ML, ElevenLabs, etc.</li><li>Content Sense: Excellent understanding of storytelling, platform trends, pacing, and audience behavior on short-form platforms.</li><li>Motion Graphics: Hands-on experience in creating clean, modern animations and on-screen text.</li><li>Adaptability: Able to work across diverse client profiles &ndash; from personal brands to product-led businesses.</li><li>Detail-Oriented: Strong sense of timing, transitions, rhythm, and audio syncing.</li><li>Team Spirit: Comfortable collaborating with creative leads and other team members to refine edits.</li></ul>Bonus Skills (Not Mandatory but Great to Have):<ul><li>Experience with founder/influencer brand videos</li><li>Familiarity with meme edits or virality formats</li><li>Ability to ideate and storyboard concepts from scratch</li><li>Colour grading &amp; audio enhancement</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive salary based on skill and experience</li><li>A creative playground to bring viral content ideas to life</li><li>Access to premium tools and AI platforms</li><li>A fun, collaborative team at GREY SHADE</li><li>Opportunities to grow in a fast-paced content-first agency environment</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;10,421.35 - &#8377;31,372.73 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
