Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salesperson to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to drive sales.We like engage with customers and make them feel comfortable, having a little chat that helps close the sale!Duties<ul><li>Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and support their shopping experience.</li><li>Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.</li><li>Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer purchases.</li><li>Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.</li><li>Assist in merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively on shelves and displays.</li><li>Ensure compliance with store policies regarding cash handling and customer service standards.</li><li>Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding sales goals and customer feedback.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in a grocery store environment.</li><li>Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications.</li><li>Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members.</li><li>Experience with merchandising techniques is advantageous to enhance product visibility.</li><li>Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer engagement in diverse communities.</li><li>Knowledge of phone etiquette is beneficial for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
