Job description:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with aerospace industry regulations. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while contributing to maintaining the integrity of our products.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensure compliance with customer purchase orders and contracts to deliver quality products and supporting documentation (e.g., material and process certifications).</li><li>Conduct in-process inspections following work instructions to ensure product conformity during manufacturing.</li><li>Execute Receiving Inspections based on work instructions and specific PO requirements to support production needs.</li><li>Perform accurate First Article Inspections using industry-standard forms (AS9102), creating reports with software tools and collaborating with engineering, scheduling, and production teams.</li></ul>Required Education and Experience:<ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Control or a related field.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Basic math skills to perform calculations necessary for the role.</li><li>Strong reasoning skills with the ability to interpret instructions in various formats (written, oral, diagram, or schedule).</li></ul>Physical Demands:<ul><li>Ability to regularly stand, walk, stoop, and use hands and fingers for inspections and testing.</li></ul>Preferred Experience:<ul><li>Experience working in a NADCAP-certified environment.</li><li>Familiarity with AS9102 forms (highly desired).</li><li>Experience in an AS9100 certified environment.</li><li>Exposure to Physical Materials Testing.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>8 hour shift</li><li>Day shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>Weekends as needed</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Canton, GA 30115 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Canton, GA 30115: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In personJob Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Canton, GA 30115 (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
