Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit a <b>Head of Girls&rsquo; School</b> to join Etqan Global Academy in Doha, Qatar.</div><br>

We are looking for an exceptional leader to provide strategic and operational leadership across the Girls&rsquo; division (PYP and MYP). This role is responsible for driving high academic standards, strong pastoral systems, and a culture rooted in inquiry, integrity, and ambition.</div><br>

Working closely with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in strengthening IB programme delivery, supporting authorisation processes, and preparing for future expansion into the Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP).</div><div></div><div><br>
The role:</div><br>

We seek an individual to join as a <b>Head of Girls&rsquo; School</b> where your focus will be:</div><br>

<ul>
<li><div>Providing clear strategic direction aligned with the school improvement plan and IB philosophy</div>
</li>
<li><div>Leading high-quality implementation of the IB PYP and MYP programmes</div>
</li>
<li><div>Ensuring curriculum coherence, progression, and alignment across phases</div>
</li>
<li><div>Driving high standards in teaching, learning, and assessment</div>
</li>
<li><div>Supporting IB evaluation, authorisation, and compliance processes</div>
</li>
<li><div>Promoting inquiry-based, concept-driven learning and international mindedness</div>
</li>
<li><div>Establishing a strong pastoral culture focused on wellbeing, safeguarding, and student development</div>
</li>
<li><div>Embedding character education aligned with Qatari values and school ethos</div>
</li>
<li><div>Leading, coaching, and developing teaching and support staff</div>
</li>
<li><div>Driving accountability, performance, and professional development</div>
</li>
<li><div>Building strong relationships with parents and the wider school community</div>
</li>
<li><div>Contributing to enrolment growth and overall school development</div></li></ul><div><br>
</div>
<p></p><div>The Successful Candidate will possess:</div><br>
<div></div>
<ul>
<li><div>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Education or a relevant subject (essential)</div>
</li>
<li><div>Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent)</div>
</li>
<li><div>Master&rsquo;s Degree in Education or Educational Leadership (strongly desirable)</div>
</li>
<li><div>Proven senior leadership experience within an <b>IB PYP and/or MYP setting</b></div>
</li>
<li><div>Strong understanding of IB standards and practices</div>
</li>
<li><div>Experience supporting IB evaluation or authorisation processes</div>
</li>
<li><div>Demonstrated success in raising academic standards</div>
</li>
<li><div>Strong pastoral leadership experience</div>
</li>
<li><div>Experience working in diverse or bilingual environments</div>
</li>
<li><div>Ability to lead school improvement and manage change effectively</div></li></ul><br>
