JOB ANNOUNCEMENTPreschool Teacher &mdash; Part-Time &amp; Substitute Positions AvailableQualifications &amp; Requisite SkillsAppropriate preschool coursework and knowledge of state compliance regulations and procedures.Experienced preschool teacher (1-2 years minimum) with proven ability to operate classroom enrollment capacity up to 24 students.Knowledgeable of social media and web-based platforms for recruiting students and interacting with parents and the community.Appropriate computer and technology skills.Effective classroom management routines, schedules, and operating procedures.Effective methods of redirecting inappropriate preschool misbehavior.Patient and nurturing approach that works well with preschoolers and parents.Responsibilities &amp; DutiesFollow and implement effective state preschool curriculum using appropriate instructional learning activities.Follow and implement the preschool lesson plans provided to support the instructional needs of students.Employ a variety of instructional techniques that support the social and developmental needs of 2- to 5-year-old students.Promote a culturally sensitive, language driven environment that acknowledges and celebrates the diversity among families and uses supplies and equipment that reflect the diversity within the community.Model and promote positive behavior, attitude and language while developing positive conflict resolution skills among children, parents, and staff.Actively engage with children during all activities as opposed to simply observing.Maintain open lines of communication with parents, staff, and administration.Maintain accurate and complete records as required by laws, state policies and administrative compliance.Reports to the Preschool Director and NCS Administrator.Job Types: Part-time, TemporaryPay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hourAbility to Commute:<ul><li>Los Angeles, CA 90044 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Los Angeles, CA 90044: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
