North Austin Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Front Office Patient Services Representative to join our North Austin office location at 12201 Renfert Way, Suite 110, in Austin, 78758. Core Duties:<ul><li>
Greet all patients upon arrival in a professional matter and present helpful first impression for the practice</li><li>
Perform check in, check out medical office procedures</li><li>
Route parents&rsquo; medical inquiries/triage calls to nurses, with corresponding patient charts</li><li>
Schedule all patient appointments for the office, both new and follow up</li><li>
Obtain patient information and update established patient demographics and insurance information</li><li>
Verify patients&rsquo; insurance benefits on all visits</li><li>
Maintaining the front desk office area and waiting room are clean and organized</li><li>
Additional administrative duties</li></ul>
Soft Skills:<ul><li>
Ability to employ tact, diplomacy, and compassion in addressing issues and patient needs is required</li>
Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal<li>-are required</li><li>
Ability to relate to children</li><li>
Must possess excellent time management skills</li><li>
Well Organized and punctual</li></ul>
Hours:<ul><li>
Full-Time</li><li>
Monday thru Friday shifts from 7:40am -5pm, with one Saturday morning shift every 4-6 weeks</li></ul>

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will work within a front office position as the first-line of customer service in a medical office. The candidate will often be referred to as the &lsquo;face of the practice&rsquo;. The Front Office Patient Services Representative greets the patient and will provide the clerical and financial services during the patient&rsquo;s visit. The Front Office Patient Services Representative candidate must be organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task in this busy office setting. At least one-year previous medical office experience is preferred for this position. Candidate must also have great customer skills, be a team player, and the ability to relate well to children. The shift availability for this role at the Leander office is Monday thru Friday shifts from 7:40am -5pm, with one Saturday morning shift every 4-6 weeks.</div>
