About Us: North Bay Produce is a grower-owned agricultural cooperative and a leader in the fresh produce industry. We are currently seeking a highly organized and communicative Operations Administrator to join our team at the MidAmerica Warehouse in Mascoutah, IL.About the Role: As the Operations Administrator, you will be the vital communication hub between our warehouse, production teams, and external transportation partners. Your primary focus will be coordinating truck appointments to ensure that orders are prepped, staged, and ready for on-time departures. You will also oversee the transition of receiving paperwork from the night shift to the day shift, ensuring a seamless operational handoff.If you thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment and excel at keeping teams aligned and on schedule, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Transportation Coordination: Schedule and coordinate appointment times for trucks picking up orders.</li><li>Cross-Team Communication: Work directly with the production and warehouse teams to ensure product is finalized and staged in time for scheduled driver departures.</li><li>Driver Management: Check arriving and departing drivers in and out of the facility promptly and professionally.</li><li>Paperwork &amp; Data Entry: Oversee the completion of receiving paperwork and operational processes carrying over from the night shift to the day shift.</li><li>General Administration: Utilize email and internal software to communicate updates internally and externally.</li></ul>Requirements &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a logistics, warehousing, or administrative role preferred.</li><li>Technology: Proficiency in basic Microsoft Excel and Outlook required. Prior experience using ERP software is a major plus.</li><li>Language: Fluent English is required.
