Recruit and Support Underserved Populations</b></div><ul><li><b>
Outreach and Recruitment:</b> Develop and implement strategies for recruiting and retaining diverse students in designated pathways.</li><li><b>
Student Success:</b> Coordinate the creation of educational and career goals for students, monitor their progress, and provide one-on-one career coaching and mentoring.</li><li><b>
Community Support:</b> Connect students with campus and community resources, ensuring they receive wrap-around services.</li></ul><div><b>

Industry Collaboration:</b> Work with the EnerGETic DOL Project Director to engage business and industry partners.</li><li><b>

Networking &amp; Partnerships:</b> Build strong relationships with community organizations, helping to facilitate easy access to resources and supporting career readiness.</li><li><b>
Event Participation:</b> Represent the program at action summits, career fairs, conferences, and other outreach events.</li></ul><div><b>
Data Collection &amp; Database Management</b></div><ul><li><b>
Data Integrity:</b> Oversee the collection, entry, and maintenance of accurate participant and program data, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.</li><li><b>
Database Management:</b> Manage and monitor the grant database, ensuring data security and integrity while generating custom reports to support quarterly and final reporting on program outcomes.</li><li><b>
Reporting:</b> Support the preparation of reports that track grant activities, including progress on student outcomes, apprenticeship success, and community engagement.</li></ul><div><b>
Administrative Support</b></div><ul><li><b>
Administrative Assistance:</b> Provide high-level administrative support to the EnerGETic DOL Project Director, including assisting with grant documents, quarterly reports, and modification requests.</li><li><b>
Event Coordination:</b> Help organize and coordinate meetings with industry partners, advisory committees, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth logistics and follow-up.</li><li><b>
Financial Reconciliation:</b> Assist with purchasing card expenditures and maintain accurate financial records.</li></ul><div><b>
Miscellaneous Duties</b></div><ul><li><b>
Customer Service:</b> Respond to inquiries from students, industry partners, and stakeholders, providing timely, accurate information and exceptional service.</li><li><b>
Public Communications:</b> Collaborate on public outreach efforts, producing newsletters, social media posts, press releases, and other materials that highlight the grant's achievements.</li><li><b>
Continuous Improvement:</b> Stay up-to-date with grant policies and procedures, suggesting process improvements and efficiencies where applicable.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</b></div><ul><li>
Requires an associate degree and two years of work experience in business, education, psychology, communications, social sciences, health sciences, trades, or related field.</li><li>
Demonstrated capacity to manage and analyze data sets, with excellent spreadsheet and database management skills (Microsoft Excel and Access preferred).</li><li>
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with a customer service focus.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.</li><li>
Knowledge of career planning and employment search processes, tools, and resources.</li><li>
An understanding of community support services and how to access them.</li><li>
Advanced knowledge of computer software (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, electronic email, and calendar) and the Internet.</li><li>

Develop and maintain paper and electronic filing systems including all files associated with Annual and Endowed scholarship donors.</div></li><li><div>
Enters donor data from checks, correspondence, and online transactions into donor database into Raiser&rsquo;s Edge maintaining a high degree of accuracy.</div></li></ul></li></ul></li><li><p>
Donor Relations and Stewardship</p><ul><li><div>

Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the DSU Heritage Foundation including answering the phone, taking messages or transferring to appropriate person, opening and distributing mail, ordering office supplies, etc.</div></li><li><div>
Proficiency in various computer software programs and ability to adapt to industry specific programs</div></li><li><div>
Order flowers and send greeting cards to alumni and friends for significant life events, such as births, marriages or deaths.</div></li><li><div>
Assist with tracking RSVP&rsquo;s and ticket sales for socials, ceremonies and other events promoted through the DSUHF.</div></li><li><div>
Participate in the development and implementation of DSUHF goals and objectives.</div></li><li><div>
Assist in the development and implementation of DSUHF policies and procedures; financial policies and procedures, and gift acceptance policies and procedures.</div></li><li><div>
In the absence of the Executive Assistant to the President, provide assistance as needed.</div></li><li><div>
