Job Summary:
At North Lake Care Center, we are seeking an experienced Director of Rehab / Physical Therapist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Director of Rehab, you will be responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation department and providing high-quality physical therapy services to our residents. Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations</li><li>
Provide physical therapy services to residents, including initial assessments, treatment planning, and implementation of intervention plans</li><li>
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans</li><li>
Supervise and mentor rehab team members to ensure exceptional patient care and outcomes</li><li>
Conduct monthly quality assurance reviews and implement performance improvement initiatives</li><li>
Develop and maintain relationships with referring healthcare providers and community partners</li><li>
Participate in facility-wide committee meetings and contribute to QAPI initiatives</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
Master's degree in Physical Therapy (PT) from an accredited program</li><li>
Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting as a Physical Therapist, with experience in a leadership role.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and guidelines</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities</li></ul>
