 Job Description
 
 
 
 We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our dynamic healthcare team in Portland. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting licensed physical therapists while ensuring exceptional patient care and maintaining an efficient therapy environment.
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist physical therapists during treatment sessions and therapeutic exercises
 </li>
 <li>
 Safely transport and transfer patients to and from treatment areas
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare, sanitize, and maintain treatment areas and equipment
 </li>
 <li>
 Schedule patient appointments and manage electronic health records
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and maintain therapy supply inventory
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform administrative tasks including answering phones and managing documentation
 </li>
 <li>
 Support therapists in patient education and exercise demonstration
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care delivery
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High school diploma or equivalent required
 </li>
 <li>
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in patient transfer techniques and safety protocols
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy/physiology
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with electronic health records systems preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational and time management skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
 </li>
 <li>
 Physical stamina to assist patients and handle therapy equipment
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
 </li>
 <li>
 Professional demeanor and commitment to patient care
