<div>SUMMARY: 
The Quality Support Technician serves to support the operations team by providing and performing a detailed and thorough inspection and cleaning of the repaired vehicle prior to release to the customer. This role will also serve to assist shop operations by performing a variety of tasks associated with maintenance of the shop location, including cleaning and organizing various pieces of equipment and tools.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Responsible for performing a thorough detailing and cleaning of all vehicles prior to final delivery to the customer.</li>
<li>Visually inspect every vehicle for flaws in the repaired area. Promptly notify the General Manager or assigned technician should any defects or issues be found upon inspection.</li>
<li>Responsible for assisting in the general maintenance of shop location and outside grounds.</li>
<li>Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards.</li>
<li>May serve to ensure that test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.</li>
<li>Consistently utilizes all required safety equipment, adheres to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal and participate in monthly safety meetings.</li>
<li>Maintains the proper function of all service tools and equipment in the detail department; keep personal work area organized and returns tools, materials, and equipment to designated areas.</li>
<li>Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.</li>
<li>Perform any cleaning activities such as mopping, dusting, sweeping, as well as collecting and emptying trash cans daily. Service, clean, and supply any items in restrooms.</li>
<li>Make minor repairs when necessary, such as changing a light bulb.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent
</li><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License and good driving record is necessary</li>
<li>Prior experience in automotive industry is strongly preferred but not required
</li><li>Excellent verbal communication and mechanical skills
</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
</li><li>Willingness to be flexible with task assignments and respond to the needs of the shop operations team</li>
<li>Ability to work independently but also as part of a larger team to meet the objective of servicing the customer and vehicle</li>
</ul>
