 North Point Technology is hiring a senior Linux Administrator SME to support enterprise MLS configurations across mission-critical environments, including the Centralized Supercomputing Facility (CSCF) and other high-impact programs. This role is ideal for a deep Linux security expert who can own SELinux and MLS policy implementation, automate administration at scale, and strengthen secure platform operations across complex environments.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 Administer and harden Linux systems supporting enterprise MLS environments across HPC and other mission-focused programs. Lead SELinux and MLS configuration efforts, including policy development, MAC labeling, security contexts, least-privilege access controls, FreeIPA integration, and MLS network interface configuration. Troubleshoot complex Linux and kernel-level issues using source code analysis, system logs, and low-level diagnostic tools. Manage patching and system lifecycle activities, including Satellite repository administration and custom kernel builds to support functionality and security requirements. Automate system configuration, maintenance, and patching with Ansible and Satellite Server. Support identity and access management integrations, including LDAP and token-based authentication, and partner with engineering and support teams to improve security, stability, and operational consistency across critical Linux environments.
 
 
 
 Required Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, AIS, or related field
 </li>
 <li>
 10+ years of relevant professional experience
 </li>
 <li>
 At least 5 years of experience developing or supporting system software in heterogeneous, multi-platform environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep expertise in SELinux and MLS administration, including policy configuration, MAC labeling, security contexts, policy debugging, MLS FreeIPA, MLS Ethernet interface networking, and least-access policy development
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong scripting skills in Bourne/Bash and Expect
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience debugging Linux kernel issues using source code analysis, system logs, crash, systemtap, or similar tools
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience managing Satellite repositories for patching and custom kernel builds
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience automating system configuration and maintenance with Ansible and Satellite Server
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of identity management systems, including LDAP and token-based authentication
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in complex technical environments
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>

Systems Administrator - SE Linux / MLS (TS/SCI Clearance Required)

North Point Technology is hiring a hands-on Scrum Master / Software Engineer to help lead Agile delivery while contributing to the development and sustainment of mission-critical geospatial visualization capabilities that support GEOINT users across the Federal Government. North Point Technology supports the Strata program, where engineering teams build, modernize, and sustain GVS capabilities in a fast-paced mission environment. This role is ideal for someone who can drive scrum execution, remove blockers, coordinate across teams, and still contribute technically to software delivery. You will support both current operations and planned enhancements while helping the team maintain strong delivery rhythm and engineering discipline.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will serve as the Scrum Master for a development team responsible for building and maintaining geospatial visualization capabilities across the Strata program. You will lead Agile ceremonies, help manage team execution, remove impediments, coordinate dependencies, and support delivery across current and planned GVS capabilities. You will work closely with developers, product owners, subcontractors, local engineers, and geographically dispersed teammates to keep work moving and ensure priorities are translated into actionable sprint outcomes. In addition to Agile leadership, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, testing, and sustainment of software solutions that support mission operations and future enhancements. You will help the team balance new feature development with sustainment needs while promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>
<li>5 years of professional experience, or 3 years with a related Master's degree</li>
<li>3+ years of software development experience</li>
<li>Experience serving as a Scrum Master or leading Agile delivery for a software development team</li>
<li>Experience working in SAFe or other Agile development environments</li>
<li>Experience with at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, or Python</li>
<li>Experience collaborating across multiple teams and job functions</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment</li>
<li>Active Top Secret clearance required to start</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Certified Scrum Master or similar Agile certification</li>
<li>Experience with Angular or AngularJS</li>
<li>Experience migrating AngularJS applications to Angular</li>
<li>Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized application environments</li>
<li>Experience with Red Hat Linux, PostgreSQL, AWS, or Apache</li>
<li>Experience with Git and modern source control workflows</li>
<li>Experience contributing to open source projects</li>
<li>Experience supporting both software sustainment and new feature development in the same environment</li>
<li>Experience supporting geospatial, visualization, or GEOINT mission applications</li>
