About the Role:
At North Range Behavioral Health, we believe every child deserves access to the mental health support they need to feel safe, seen, and empowered to succeed. Our School-Based Services program is rooted in the mission of meeting children and youth where they are, removing barriers to care and strengthening mental wellness with the school community.
By embedding comprehensive mental health and substance use services directly into schools across Weld County, we ensure timely, accessible, and compassionate support for students facing life&rsquo;s challenges. Our school-based clinicians work hand-in-hand with students, families, and educators to promote resilience, foster connection, and create pathways towards lasting wellness.
Support may include treatment for anxiety, depression, adolescent substance use, anger management, and truancy, as well as skill-building to strengthen emotional regulation, coping strategies, and healthy relationships. Clinicians provide individualized case management, coordinate care, crisis intervention, and therapeutic service, including individual, group, and family therapy, tailored to each student&rsquo;s unique needs. Comprehensive screenings, assessments, and referrals help to ensure students and families are connected to the right resources at the right time.
This program is driven by a shared commitment to early intervention, collaboration, and equity in access to care. Joining our school-based team means becoming part of a mission to uplift students, support families, and build healthier, more resilient school communities, one child at a time.
This position includes eligibility for a monthly performance bonus. 
What You Will Do:<ul><li>
Provide person-centered assessment, goal planning, and treatment for mental health and/or substance use issues. Provide screening, intakes, and assessment of clients utilizing required instruments and formats within appropriate timelines.</li><li>
Develop strength-based written treatment plans/updates and continuing care plans and make appropriate referrals. Complete written discharge summaries and correspondence within established timelines.</li><li>
Assist individuals in improving their well-being and quality of life by training in behavioral skills; educate clients to make information choices; develop client coping skills; help clients to solve problems and negotiate tasks of daily living.
</li><li>Maintain electronic health records in accordance with agency standards; confirm coding of services rendered is ethically appropriate and results in successful billing.</li>
Learn, utilize, and support fidelity of any evidence-based practices within assigned program to ensure effective interventions with clints.

Have a Masters Degree in a Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Addictions Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, or other relevant clinical degree from an accredited college of university.

About the Role:
The Competency Restoration Case Manager plays a critical role in supporting adults and juveniles involved in the criminal or juvenile justice systems who have been deemed incompetent to proceed by a court, in accordance with Colorado Revised Statutes. Grounded in a mission to empower individuals toward stability and self-sufficiency, the Case Manager delivers and coordinates competency restoration education services using evidence-based curriculum tailored to the unique needs of each client.
Through a continuum of high- to low-intensity case management services, the Case Manager addresses comprehensive health and behavioral needs, including mental health and substance use challenges. This includes assessment, individualized planning, advocacy, education, and facilitation of internal and community-based resources. By collaborating closely with psychiatrists, peers, and external service providers, the Case Manager ensures that each treatment plan is responsive, coordinated, and actionable.
A cornerstone of the role is client advocacy and empowerment. Case Managers represent and support clients in navigating federal, state, and local systems, while providing education and skill-building opportunities that foster independence, resilience, and long-term recovery. Through these efforts, the program seeks to restore competency, strengthen community connections, and advance justice-informed, compassionate care for all participants.
This position includes eligibility for a monthly performance bonus. 
What You Will Do:<ul><li>
Support Client in Goal Achievement: Assist clients in reaching their goals as outlined in treatment plans or through brief, appropriate interventions. 
Coordinate and Monitor Care: Collaborate with therapists and relevant staff to address client needs, coordinate services, and prevent deterioration or hospitalization through consistent monitoring within the programs scope.</li><li>
Facilitate access to resources: Refer, coordinate, and assist clients in accessing services such as vocational training, medical care, social security, and housing. Provide aid during application processes and supply supporting documentation as needed.</li><li>
Build Community Partnerships: Maintain cooperative relationships with community organizations, public agencies, and private businesses (e.g., landlords, banks) to deliver supportive services. May manage contracts, leases, and other client related paperwork.</li><li>
Enhance Client Engagement: Facilitate client participation in services and educational opportunities, teach approved psychoeducational curricula, adapt techniques to ensure participant engagement.</li><li>
Promote Daily Living Skills: Educate and guide clients in maintaining daily life activities such as financial management, adherence to medical recommendations, and physical and emotional self-care.</li><li>
Provide Caregiver Support: Offer support, consultation, and education to family members, caregivers, and other stakeholders to reduce barriers and enhance client outcomes.</li><li>
Adapt to Client Needs: Ensure engagement by providing flexible service delivery, including home visits, outreach, accompaniment to appointments, and assistance with medication management when clinically indicated.</li><li>
Develop Client Coping Skills: Help clients improve their well-being by coaching behavioral skills, fostering information decision-making, and developing problem-solving and daily living strategies.</li><li>
Monitor Progress and Maintain Records: Track and document client progress toward treatment goals using electronic systems. Record case management notes, correspondence, and performance data to comply with government requirements.</li></ul>
You&rsquo;re a Great Fit If You:<ul><li>
Have a Bachelors Degree in a Human Services field from an accredited college or university Or a degree in another field with at least one year of experience in behavioral or mental health services.</li><li>
Have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and an insurable driving record.</li><li>
