Position Overview
This role is a Master &rsquo;s-level licensed clinician who provides behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families in Peabody and Salem Public Schools. This is a full-time, on-site position aligned with the school calendar year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Provide crisis intervention, intake, diagnostic assessment, treatment planning to patients as well as outpatient psychotherapy services (individual, families, group).</li><li>
Provide consultation to primary care and school staff pertaining to the behavioral health needs and treatment goals of their patients.</li><li>
Network/collaborate with community leaders, health care providers, community-based organizations, and others who contribute to the ongoing assessment of the health needs of this group of patients.</li><li>
Perform school outreach activities such as classroom education sessions, health awareness sessions and assist in facilitating a Youth Advisory Committee</li><li>
Conduct community outreach identify resources that provide needed support for patients, as well as make referrals/coordinate services with these agencies.</li><li>
Share best practices and expertise with both school and NSCH staff.</li><li>
Meet productivity and documentation standards in a timely fashion using the electronic health record</li><li>
Assist in completion of written reports required by SBHC funders</li><li>
Participate in supervision, team and staff meetings, committee and task forces as required.</li><li>
Perform additional duties to fulfill NSCH&rsquo;s mission as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Current LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or PsyD required</li><li>
School-based health experience preferred</li><li>
Experience preferred using Electronic Health Records and Microsoft Office applications</li><li>
Experience using telehealth platforms</li></ul>

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to establishing a safe and respectful environment for team members</li><li>
Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment</li><li>
High level of commitment to continuous improvement and delivery of comprehensive, quality health care.</li><li>
Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese preferred.</li></ul>
Work Environment Conditions<ul><li>
Potential exposure to infectious diseases</li><li>
This position operates in a professional, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.</li><li>
Regular interaction with colleagues, supervisors, and/or clients occurs in person, by phone, and via digital communication platforms.</li><li>
Standard office hours apply, with occasional flexibility required to meet deadlines, attend meetings, or respond to organizational needs.</li><li>
Work may require sitting or standing for extended periods, using computers and other standard office equipment.</li><li>
Employees are expected to follow all organizational policies and procedures, including those related to safety, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements<ul><li>
Occasional lifting of materials (e.g., boxes, equipment) weighing up to 50 pounds</li><li>
Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods, with consistent use of computers and telephones</li><li>
May be required to travel to multiple sites within a single day</li></ul> 
As a health center, NSCH expects all employees to receive all required vaccinations and health screenings yearly. Moreover, as a condition of employment, all employees are expected to be vaccinated against COVID-19, including providing proof of having received the COVID19 vaccine, unless a religious or medical exception is granted.
