Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee and coordinate maintenance operations for our property. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and well-functioning environment for residents and staff.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Oversee and coordinate daily maintenance activities of the property</li><li>Develop and implement maintenance procedures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations</li><li>Manage and prioritize work orders to ensure timely task completion</li><li>Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs promptly</li><li>Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or projects</li><li>Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or replacements</li><li>Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies to ensure availability</li><li>Fabricate or repair equipment as necessary</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role</li><li>Strong teamwork and collaboration skills</li><li>Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry</li><li>Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications are a plus</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to frequently use stairs</li><li>Frequent bending and lifting up to 25 lbs</li><li>Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs</li><li>Ability to assist with snow removal in inclement weather</li><li>Availability for on-call after-hours emergencies</li></ul>Note: This job description provides a general overview of the position.
