We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative - Front Desk to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will ensure seamless patient care by managing registration, appointment scheduling, and clinical call coordination across multiple practices and facilities. Your contributions will directly impact operational efficiency and the delivery of exceptional patient experience, supporting the overall success of our healthcare services.

Pay and Hours:

Pay range is $22 - $23 hourly. Hours are Monday - Thursday, 10 hours Daily.

Essential Functions:

To perform effectively in this role, the candidate must fulfill the following duties with or without reasonable accommodations:

<li>Patient Engagement: Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival. Manage patient registration and appointment scheduling with the highest level of customer service, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.</li>
<li>Clinical Call Coordination: Accurately triage and route clinical calls to the appropriate departments or personnel, ensuring timely and precise resolution of patient inquiries.</li>
<li>Documentation Assistance: Support patients in completing required forms and paperwork, providing clear guidance to ensure accuracy and completeness.</li>
<li>Environment Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting work area and lobby to ensure a positive first impression for patients and visitors.</li>
<li>Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate patient concerns to the appropriate team members or departments to maintain service excellence and satisfaction.</li>
<li>Productivity and Compliance: Meet or exceed departmental productivity benchmarks while maintaining a thorough understanding of billing processes and the medical services offered by practitioners.</li>
<li>Referral and Record Management: Accurately enter referral information, manage patient records, and ensure that all medical charts are up-to-date and readily accessible.</li>
<li>Reliability: Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality to support uninterrupted patient care and team collaboration.</li>
<li>Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare operations.</li>

Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>0-1 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center, healthcare, or retail environment.</li>
<li>Proficient in collecting patient payments at the time of service.</li>
<li>Skilled in navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously.</li>
<li>Competent in Microsoft Office applications.</li></ul>

<div>Position Summary:

The Medical Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting dermatology physicians by delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include patient rooming, updating medical histories, documenting visit details, and assisting with various dermatological procedures such as biopsies, surgeries, and skin treatments.

Essential Functions:

To perform effectively in this role, the candidate must fulfill the following duties with or without reasonable accommodations:

<li>Collaborate with a team to manage an average patient volume of up to 40 patients daily.</li>
<li>Document patient histories, including history of present illness (HPI), medical, surgical, and family history, medications, and allergies.</li>
<li>Prepare and assist with dermatological and cosmetic procedures, including ED&amp;Cs, biopsies (shave and punch), ILK, I&amp;D, Botox, laser treatments, excisions, and other surgical interventions.</li>
<li>Administer local anesthesia and remove sutures as directed.</li>
<li>Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control practices.</li>
<li>Perform scribing responsibilities, including inputting templates and chart notes as directed by physicians.</li>
<li>Process prescription refills and manage prior authorizations.</li>
<li>Log pathology samples and coordinate with appropriate laboratories.</li>
<li>Operate specialized equipment such as Narrowband UVB and photodynamic therapy units.</li>
<li>Maintain and replenish liquid nitrogen containers.</li>
<li>Clean and stock examination rooms and supply areas.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to organizational infection control protocols.</li>
<li>Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.</li>
