This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, inspiring setting while making a tangible impact on diverse projects ranging from home additions, ADUs, luxury kitchens and bathrooms to new constructions.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop comprehensive interior design concepts using Chief Architect to visualize and communicate ideas effectively.</li><li>Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for interior spaces, including lighting design and color schemes, ensuring alignment with client needs and project requirements.</li><li>Conduct site visits during renovation and construction phases to oversee progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure adherence to design specifications.</li><li>Source materials, furnishings, lighting fixtures, and finishes that meet aesthetic goals and budget constraints.</li><li>Draft contracts and scope of work documents; negotiate terms with suppliers and contractors to secure the best value for clients.</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends in remodeling, interior design, CAD drafting techniques, and new product innovations to continuously elevate project quality.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in interior design or related fields with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects such as remodeling or renovation.</li><li>Proficiency in Chief Architect or similar CAD software.</li><li>Solid understanding of drafting standards, color theory principles, CAD workflows, and construction documentation processes.</li><li>Knowledge of budgeting strategies and client communication skills.</li><li>Familiarity with plumbing and lighting design principles; experience in remodeling projects is highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.
