Job Summary</div><div>
The Leave &amp; Accommodations Supervisor will play a vital leadership role by overseeing daily operations and supervising a team of leave professionals, including Leave Specialists and Clinical Specialist. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate administration of all employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, Company leaves and disability coordination with the third party administrator. The Supervisor will support team performance, ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, drive consistency, and promote a positive employee experience aligned with NGHS values and core competencies.</div><div></div><div>

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities</div><ul><li><div>
Oversee day-to-day administration of all employee leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and NGHS-specific policies (e.g., FMLA, ADA, STD, PWFA, Work Comp, LTD).</div></li><li><div>
Ensure consistent, timely and accurate case handling across all leave types and effectively and efficiently resolve escalated and complex leave cases.</div></li><li><div>
Serve as a point of escalation for employees, HR and business leaders addressing concerns related to leave administration or accommodations.</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, Employee Health, and department managers to support seamless case coordination and employee return to work.</div></li><li><div>
Work closely with the Clinical Specialist to align clinical review processes with operational timelines and compliance needs.</div></li><li><div>
Monitor team workload, case volume, and performance metrics to ensure timely and accurate adjudication of leave claims.</div></li><li><div>
Track team metrics and case outcomes to identify trends, bottlenecks, and training opportunities.</div></li><li><div>
Conduct weekly audits of leave cases to ensure adherence with standard operating procedures and compliance with FMLA, ADA and company policies.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>

The Leave Administration Clinical Specialist plays a critical role in the compassionate, compliant, and clinically sound management of employee leave by serving as the clinical resource for all medically related leave cases, including complex and escalated medical leaves.<br>
This position will collaborate with the Leave Team, Employee Health, HR Leaders, and healthcare providers to ensure appropriate interpretation of medical documentation, determination of leave eligibility, and facilitation of employee return-to-work processes, all in alignment with NGHS values and core competencies.</div><div></div><div>
Minimum Job Qualifications</div><ul><li><div>
Licensure or other certifications: Active LPN or RN license in the state of Georgia.</div></li><li><div>

Responsible for day-to-day FMLA and LOA administration and compliance with federal laws. Maintains proficiency in all HRIS systems which relate to leave management and PDO as applicable to leave management.</div></li><li><div>
Responds to employee questions and inquiries regarding PDO, LOA, and FMLA, demonstrating courtesy and professionalism at all times.</div></li><li><div>
Responsible for preparation and distribution of all FMLA &amp; LOA communication, electronic and paper, that employees require access to. Ensures compliance with FMLA laws and NGHS internal policies.</div></li><li><div>
Interprets policies and makes recommendations to employees and managers regarding FMLA and LOA options and requirements. Uses independent judgment to guide managers and directors to make correct decisions.</div></li><li><div>
Presents non-standard cases to Employee Benefits Director for review.</div></li><li><div>
Keeps abreast of federal requirements and NGHS policies pertaining to FMLA and LOA. Recognizes when changes need to be made regarding forms, leave packets, instructions to employees, etc. With approval of Employee Benefits Director, implements changes and revises leave packets and employee communication accordingly.</div></li><li><div>
