POSITION TITLE: Licensed Inpatient Clinican
PAY RANGE: $60.00-$69.44 Per Hour
REPORTS TO: Director of Clinical Services
HOURS: Tues, Thur, Fri, Sat 10:30am-9pm 4x10's
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
The Licensed Inpatient Clinician makes sound clinical judgement and plays a key role in modeling professionalism and good clinical practice for the Associate Clinicians. Responsible to provide quality Psycho-therapeutic Services, Group Therapy, Treatment Planning, Individual Therapy, Individual Intervention Plan for a caseload of adults and/or adolescents. Licensed Inpatient Clinicians serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy while assuring quality treatment is delivered to patients and their families. They are the lead facilitator of the patient treatment plan and continuously monitor the implementation of active treatment with assigned patients. The Licensed Inpatient Clinician maintains knowledge of, participates in further training provided, and understands the potential risks regarding occupational health hazards (e.g. bloodborne pathogen exposures). 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Completes initial psychosocial assessment and clinical documentation within 72 hours of patient's admission to the hospital.</li><li>
Ensures compliance with all treatment plan requirements including weekly review and updates with the patient (indicated by patient signatures, initials and dates that each review is completed).</li><li>
Consistently documents treatment, interventions, face-to-face contact and collateral information provided to patient in the medical record (i.e., Progress Notes) based on clinical scope of practice as well as a case management note at least every other day thereafter for both adults and adolescents.</li><li>
Facilitates psychoeducation groups and follows hospital schedule promptly, completing individualized group notes.</li><li>
Completes all reports for Tarasoff and suspected abuse as legally mandated and consistently informs Director of Social Services and Director of Clinical Services.</li><li>
Conducts family sessions for adolescents and for adult patients.</li><li>
Completes Release of Information accurately and completely.</li><li>
Attends all scheduled Social Services/Business Development meetings without need for prompting and in a timely manner.</li><li>
Provides training to new onboarding therapists and training to Associate Therapists.</li><li>
If providing Clinical Supervision for Associate-level clinicians, Licensed Therapist will schedule weekly supervision meetings (individual, triadic, or group) and follow CA BBS Clinical Supervision Guidelines.</li><li>
If providing Clinical Supervision for Associate-level clinicians, Licensed Therapist will review, audit, and monitor clinical documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, etc.) and will sign off on documents as the designated licensed supervisor.</li><li>
If providing Clinical Supervision for Associate-level clinicians, Licensed Therapist will provide weekly communication and updates to Director of Social Services and/or Director of Clinical Services regarding individual professional development and learning objectives for Associate-level clinicians as it pertains to their scope of practice and job expectations.</li><li>
Comply with LPS and HIPPA guidelines.

Consistently carries out the above-outlined job responsibilities while maintaining appropriate boundaries and professional demeanor.</li><li>

Requirements 
Knowledge and Experience:<ul>
<li>Master&rsquo;s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage &amp; Family Therapy, or closely related field.</li>
<li>A minimum of two years of behavioral health experience and experience working with Severe Mental Illness and Group Facilitation preferred.</li>
<li>Current LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license in good standing with the California BBS, or PsyD in good standing with BOP.
</li><li>Current CPR certification (or obtained within the first 30 days of hire).
</li><li>Current Handle with Care certification (or obtained within the first 30 days of hire).</li>
<li>English proficiency required.

POSITION TITLE: Clinician II MA (Inpatient)
PAY RANGE: $49.00-$55.55 Per Hour
REPORTS TO: Director of Clinical Services

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Provides quality Psychotherapeutic services (Group Therapy, Treatment Planning, Appropriate Communication with Treatment Team Members, Psychosocial/Social Assessments) to all patients and their families; to serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment program, philosophy and assure the deliverance of quality treatment to patients and their families. Facilitates psychoeducational groups as outlined by hospital schedule in a timely fashion and documents patient progress individually in group notes.</li><li>
Completes all reports for Tarasoff and suspected abuse as legally mandated and consistently informs direct Supervisor.</li><li>
Conducts family sessions for adolescents and for adult patients as part of clinical for adolescents and as ordered by Psychiatrist.</li><li>
Completes Release of Information accurately and completely.</li><li>
Attends all scheduled Social Services/Clinical meetings without need for prompting and in a timely manner.</li><li>
For clinicians who are unlicensed, consistently complies with required state and hospital guidelines for Supervision.</li><li>

Requirements 
Knowledge and Experience:<ul>
<li>Master&rsquo;s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or closely related field.</li>
<li>One year of behavioral health experience required. Experience with Severely Mentally Ill and Group Facilitation preferred.</li>
<li>Current LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license in good standing with the BBS OR current registration as an AMFT or ASW Trainee/Intern with the BBS (board registered associates must maintain an active supervision affiliation with a board approved clinical supervisor and maintain associate registration status with the BBS in good standing). Individuals who are currently enrolled in a Ph.D/Psy.D Intern School Program may be considered on a case by case basis as approved by the CEO.</li>
<li>Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required, or obtained within initial orientation period.
</li><li>Verbal de-escalation and physical intervention program as approved by the CNO.</li>
<li>English proficiency required.

POSITION TITLE: Unit Coordinator
PAY RANGE: $24.50-28.79 per hour
HOURS: AM Shift (7am-3:30pm)
REPORTS TO: Nurse Manager
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
The Unit Coordinator is responsible for clerical functions of the nursing unit. The person in this position serves as a resource for patients, physicians, staff who may approach the nursing station. A critical function of this position is to coordinate flow of information and activities supporting delivery of safe, quality patient care. The Unit Coordinator maintains knowledge of, participates in further training provided, and understands the potential risks regarding occupational health hazards (e.g. bloodborne pathogen exposures). 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Maintain complete and accurate medical records for patients. This includes but not limited to all forms labeled, in correct chart and correct section of chart.</li><li>
Schedule logistical needs for patients including but not limited to scheduling medical tests, appointments, and transportation.
</li><li>Complete legal reports and submit to county, state, and national agencies as required by nature of information. Examples are reports include gun prohibition forms, denials of rights reports, and other reporting as directed.</li><li>
Serve as point of contact for inquiries; direct inquiries as appropriate for timely resolution.</li><li>
Monitor and update legal status board to track required documentation for patients on legal hold.</li><li>
Enter ordered patient lab work in lab book. Promptly collect results of lab work received and forward reports to appropriate licensed staff for timely review and action.</li><li>
Organize files, correspondence, records, and follow up on pending matters.

<li>Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology preferred</li>
<li>Experience in working in a role requiring independent thinking and using problem solving skills.</li>
