Job Summary The Bartender's primary responsibilities are to mix and serve food and drinks to our patrons. To learn more about about the position please look over the additional responsibilities.Responsibilities<ul><li>Working as a team with our bartending and service staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages</li><li>Checking identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol</li><li>Having the ability to limit incidences by following ServSafe Alcohol guidelines on over-service including stopping service of alcoholic beverages to patrons as needed</li><li>Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.</li><li>Maintaining and cleaning working area by following established opening and closing checklists</li><li>Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.</li><li>Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures.</li><li>Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.</li><li>Stay updated on drink trends, brewing techniques, and new menu items to enhance guest experience.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous experience in bartending or a similar role is preferred.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.</li><li>Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices in a restaurant environment.</li><li>Knowledge of alcohol safety practices in a restaurant environment.</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.</li><li>A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.</li><li>Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus but not required.</li></ul>Join our team as a Bartender where your skills will shine, and your contributions will be valued!Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From $7.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Harbor Springs, MI 49740 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
