 Job summary/Objective of Job&nbsp;
 
 
 
 This position has the responsibility of loading, unloading, and delivering materials and goods from Valley Truck Parts to business or customer sites.&nbsp;
 
 
 
 &nbsp;
 
 
 
 Summary of Essential Job Functions: &nbsp;
 
 
 <ul>
 
 <li>
 Load and unload materials and goods.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Deliver items to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Ensure the safe and secure transport of all deliveries.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Maintain accurate delivery records.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Document any vehicle issues, fuel intake, and maintenance in respective logs.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Handle the vehicle expertly and perform minor repairs and maintenance activities.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Conduct daily inspections and report any vehicle faults to management.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Be thoroughly aware of city roadways and efficiently read/interpret road maps.
 </li>

 Secondary Responsibilities: &nbsp;

 <li>
 Assist with inventory cycle counts and general warehouse support.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Support dispatch department with cleaning and organizational tasks.
 </li>

 <li>
 Clean and maintain delivery vehicles.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Perform various other warehouse or office duties as assigned.
 </li>

 Qualifications&nbsp;

 Must have a High School Diploma, or GED
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license
 </li>

 Must have a good driving record
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Needs to have sound judgment and make quick decisions when amidst difficult situations (Example: bad weather)
 </li>
