Due to growth and expansion, Northern Star (Pogo) LLC have a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic at our world-class Pogo operation in Alaska on a rotational camp schedule.

 What&rsquo;s the role?
The Site Administrator (NSR) reports to the Human Resources Manager, and the primary role is to provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources team, Contracts and Site Services Lead and Site Management Team and other personnel as required, as it relates to functional and operational office activities.
You will be required to actively contribute towards achieving the Company&rsquo;s vision by demonstrating a clear commitment to the following values:
Duties include:<div><ul><li>
Provide specific assistance to the General Manager, Human Resources Manager and Contracts and Site Services Lead and/or their delegate.</li><li>
Provide general clerical and administrative service to other management team members.</li><li>
Process travel and accommodation bookings for employees existing and new, contractors and onsite visitors including schedule changes and travel modifications.</li><li>
Perform office duties including the updating of internal phone listing, distribution of mail and freight, office purchasing requirements, site communications, purchasing and regular reports.</li><li>
Coordinate onsite meetings, activities and community events as requested, which includes planning and execution of events.</li><li>
Ensure the weekly motorcoach and shuttle transportation requirements are ordered for employees, which includes meeting and greeting and the coordination and communication of any issues that may arise with the transportation.</li><li>
Maintain accurate room-splits sheets are maintained and address and record any issues that may arise with room assignments and/or accommodations both internally and with NMS.</li><li>
Ensure all site access requirements are adhered to, and the maintenance of relevant records.</li><li>
Coordinate evacuation lists with departments.</li><li>
Ensure employee &amp; contractor records are maintained to comply with permit/legislative requirements. Update, audit and report accurate data to and from INX.</li><li>
Liaise with Human Resources Department for the collation and submission of payroll information such as leave forms and other pertinent information</li><li>
Prepare employment documentation including contracts, variations, letters, and confirmations.</li><li>
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS and personnel files.</li><li>
Coordinate recruitment administration including interview scheduling, pre-employment checks, and onboarding logistics.</li><li>
Prepare and issue employment offer documentation and preparation and onboarding of new employees prior to their first day of employment.</li><li>
Act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries, providing accurate and professional advice.</li><li>
Escalate complex employee relations matters to HR Advisors and/or the Human Resources Manager.</li><li>
Support HR initiatives, training coordination, and internal communications.</li><li>
Produce routine HR reports and data extracts for management which includes the compilation of the General Managers Monthly Report</li><li>
Ensure that any roster changes including temporary or permanent are communicated to the Contract and Site Services Lead and Human Resources Manager to ensure that all systems are updated including any Variations to employees' contracts.</li><li>
Act as the central supply point for all social club swag which includes selling, inventory management and timely submission of payroll deduction forms.</li><li>
Maintain and update organizational chart and NSR transition roster.</li><li>
Ensure all office equipment and appliances are working correctly and request/schedule any maintenance or repairs, as necessary.</li><li>
Coordinate all Site Service maintenance work orders as needed and com</li><li>
Manage shared spaces in the Administration building including the copy room, kitchen. Request service as needed.</li><li>
Produce regular administration and support the development, review and consolidation of internal corporate documents including the biweekly site update, monthly site report, as needed.</li><li>
Requisition, verify, and process payment requests for vendors and contractors in Pronto for human resources and site services departments</li><li>
Ensure all safety related activities are undertaken in accordance with Company policy and MSHA requirements including Hazard IDs, pre-start checks, pre-start meetings, and incident reporting.</li><li>
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in all work areas.</li><li>

The specifics:<ul><li>
Previous administration experience in the resources sector, preferably on a remote site.</li><li>
A good understanding of office processes, systems and equipment.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>
Experience with document editing (grammar, formatting) and graphics production (visual aids, posters, notices)</li><li>
Advanced computer literacy &ndash; Microsoft Office, database systems including INX, Pronto etc.</li><li>
Ability to identify, address and overcome challenges and roadblocks to complete tasks.</li><li>
Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices.</li><li>
Awareness of the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Act &amp; Regulations.</li><li>
Be able to pass a background check and post offer physical.</li></ul>
 The Details:
Working a 15 day on, 13 day off rotating schedule, up to 12 hours a day or more at a remote campsite. Extreme conditions, including but not limited to extreme and changing weather conditions, dust, mud, varying levels of noise, varying degrees of light and dark, in and around artificial light and in a confined work area.
Employees are required to stay on site at the company provided camp during the work rotation. Camp facilities provide dining service, games room, exercise &amp; weight room, sauna, and accommodation rooms. Dormitory rooms have a land line phone, great Wi-Fi &amp; cable TV. Cell service is available through Wi-Fi. The Company provides a bus service to and from Fairbanks, Delta Junction and Tok, Alaska.
