<b>General Description:</b><br>
The Student Support Specialist will serve as the enrollment specialist and office support for the NOVA Workforce division. The part-time Student Support Specialist provides administrative support for the NOVA Workforce division.<br>
<br>
<b>Duties and Tasks:</b>
</div><ul><li>Performing registration tasks and/or providing guidance to students on the registration system.</li>
<li>Entering and maintaining accurate data into the student information system.</li>
<li>Issuing enrollment confirmation emails and letters.</li>
<li>Troubleshooting and resolving enrollment problems.</li>
<li>Providing quality customer service.</li>
<li>Identifying and assessing customer&rsquo;s needs to achieve satisfaction.</li>
<li>Handling customer complaints and providing appropriate resolutions and alternatives.</li>
<li>Assisting with the marketing classes.</li>
<li>Organizing and maintaining files and records.</li>
<li>Assisting program developers/managers/coordinators to ensure logistical arrangements for programs are met.</li>
<li>Providing general office support tasks.</li>
<li>Performing other related duties as required.</li>

<b>General Description:</b><br>
The Fraud Prevention Security Analyst plays a crucial role in safeguarding NVCC from deceitful activities and financial crimes by analyzing transactions, monitoring suspicious behaviors, identifying patterns of behavior, and developing strategies and processes to deter future attempts. This position is responsible for developing and leading proactive efforts to identify fraudulent activity &ndash; such as fake admissions, identity theft and ineligible federal financial aid applications &ndash; while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This position also serves as the liaison with other NVCC departments, law enforcement agencies and other internal and external stakeholders impacted by fraudulent activities.

</div><ul><li>Monitor and analyze transactions in multiple systems</li>
<li>Perform fraud prevention investigations</li>
<li>Recommend procedures and strategies regarding fraud detection and prevention</li>
<li>Review and analyze data to inform work processes</li>
<li>Develop technical standards and operating procedures.</li>
<li>Work ranges from moderately complex and varied to working on multiple complex projects at one time.</li>
