Part-Time BookkeeperNorthern Virginia Dental Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable bookkeeper to support the financial operations at our Fairfax location. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is self-motivated and prefers a flexible schedule.Part-time, approximately 14 hours per week with flexible scheduling.On-site (remote not available)Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable&middot; Process and track vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments&middot; Maintain organized records of expenses and recurring payments&middot; Coordinate with vendors regarding billing discrepancies&middot; Prepare annual Forms 1099Accounts Receivable&middot; Prepare monthly invoices in a timely manner&middot; Prepare aging, record payments, and manage collections&middot; Reconcile incoming payments and deposits with database reportsOther Duties&middot; Provide additional finance support within the scope of bookkeeping responsibilities&middot; Assist contract accountant on special projects and preparing audit workpapers&middot; Handle grants management tasks&middot; Assist with other annual reporting requirementsProcess Support&middot; Assist in maintaining efficient financial workflows and documentation&middot; Identify inefficiencies and provide recommendations for paperless processingQualifications:&middot; Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel)&middot; Bookkeeping or accounting support experience (2 years preferred)&middot; Strong attention to detail and accuracy&middot; Strong organizational skills and able to manage routine financial processes independentlyNorthern Virginia Dental Clinic is an Equal Opportunity Employer and committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hourWork Location: In person
