From interactions with coworkers to the communities we serve and potential clients, leveraging systematic approaches to collaboration and problem-solving, those values must remain at the forefront of every NorthLight employee's mind.Position DescriptionNorthLight Custom Builders&rsquo; sales team members are experienced, energetic, team-oriented, self-motivated sales professionals who are knowledgeable about and within the residential home remodeling industry. Sales can be a high-stress and fast-paced position. Having the ability to manage and stay organized through any situation is critical. This is an in-office-based setting.This is a critical role to help lay the foundation for NorthLight&rsquo;s success. You will be an integral part of our design-to-build process, guiding the client, design team, and project developers throughout the Pre-Construction process, into and throughout construction; all the while being a constant advocate for the client and the company.Organization, communication, follow-through, ability, and willingness to follow processes, and to be a team player are essential components of this position.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:&middot; Responding quickly to incoming leads, scheduling and preparing for in-person consultations.&middot; Meet with clients to learn about their objectives, vision, needs, and wants for their newly remodeled space.&middot; Effectively communicate NorthLight&rsquo;s processes and how we can meet the client&rsquo;s goals.&middot; Creatively communicate what is possible with their remodel or addition and what might not be possible based on location, budget, and other potential construction-related constraints.&middot; Build trust so the client is willing to provide you with their budget for the project and ultimately become a NorthLight client.&middot; Collaborate with the Project Developers and Design Team to develop a Pre-construction plan and deliverables to the client.&middot; Work with the Project Developers, Design Team, and trade partners to obtain accurate quotes that can then be built into a construction budget.&middot; Work with Pre-Construction team to develop the project estimates based on historical data and previous work experience, to later be built into a construction contract to be presented to the client.&middot; Confidently present and talk through contracts, answer client questions about the estimate, and the project in general.&middot; Drive to exceed sales goals as presented by management.&middot; Maintain and update Buidertrend CRM and client portal.&middot; Ability to manage multiple projects and clients effectively.&middot; Effective time management skills and ability to motivate teams to meet deadlines.&middot; Attend local networking events and meetings.&middot; Work with marketing to help develop sales tools.Qualifications&middot; Residential home remodeling industry sales experience preferred&middot; Estimating residential remodeling construction projects preferred&middot; Knowledge of residential construction (kitchen, bathroom, whole home remodeling) is preferred&middot; Stellar communication skills and desire to work with team members&middot; Customer-focused attitude&middot; Ability to work with, motivate, and overcome hurdles and roadblocks with solutions in a team environment&middot; Skilled in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Adobe&middot; Valid driver&rsquo;s license, vehicle, and cell phoneCompensation and benefits:&middot; Base salary plus commission&middot; 401K company matching after 1yr of employment&middot; Health, dental, vision insurance (shared cost)&middot; Paid vacation, sick leave and holidays&middot; Ongoing educational opportunitiesBase Salary: $80,186.40Job Type: Full-timePay: From $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have residential construction experience?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>residential remodeling: 2 years (Required)</li><li>Residential construction estimating : 3 years (Required)</li><li>Construction sales &amp; Estimating: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Mukilteo, WA 98275 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Mukilteo, WA 98275: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
