Position Summary: 
The Highland Park Country Club is seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and energetic Camp Counselors to join our summer camp team. Counselors play a key role in creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children Pre_K through 5th Grade. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with kids, thrive in an active outdoor setting, and are committed to delivering a high-quality camp experience.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Supervise and actively engage with a group of campers throughout daily activities</li><li>
Lead and assist with sports, swimming, arts &amp; crafts, games, and special events</li><li>
Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times</li><li>
Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful camp environment</li><li>
Communicate effectively with fellow staff, camp leadership, and parents when needed</li><li>
Assist with setup, cleanup, and organization of camp activities and equipment</li><li>
Follow all club policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols</li></ul>
Schedule:
Seasonal position
June Session: June 9&ndash;12
 
August Session: August 11&ndash;14

Requirements:

 Qualifications:<ul><li>
Must be at least 16</li><li>
Previous experience working with children preferred (camp, coaching, babysitting, etc.)</li><li>
Strong communication and teamwork skills</li><li>
Positive attitude, reliability, and leadership abilities</li><li>
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions</li><li>
CPR/First Aid certification a plus</li></ul>
Physical Demands and Work Environment<ul><li>
Requires constant standing, walking, bending over, stooping and lifting to tend to the children&rsquo;s needs and provide a clean environment.</li><li>
Setting may be noisy and cluttered at times.</li></ul></div>
