Candidate will perform subcontract management for Radio Frequency (RF), Command and Data Handling (C&amp;DH) and Guidance Navigation Control (GNC).</p><p></p><p>
In this job, you will:</p><ul><li>
Review Purchase Requisitions for completeness and obtain additional information considered necessary.</li><li>
Prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ)/Request for Proposal (RFP) and identify sources eligible to receive RFQ/RFP for complex and/or non-routine procurement requirements.</li><li>
Evaluate suppliers' quotes/proposals for compliance with RFQ/RFP and fact find suppliers' proposals.</li><li>
Perform a cost and/or price analysis to determine price reasonableness.</li><li>
Negotiate with suppliers on price, schedule, and terms and conditions, and any other contractual requirements. May lead negotiations with supplier.</li><li>
Make subcontract awards to suppliers and document the subcontract folders in accordance with the local procurement policies and procedures, including long term agreements.</li><li>
Manage supplier performance, along with Supplier Performance Specialist, during subcontract execution, including, but not limited to, managing supplier delivery schedule, processing invoices for payment, managing Subcontract submittals (e.g. SDRL), and/or resolve any contractual issues. - Perform subcontract close-outs in accordance with the local procurement policies and procedures.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Basic Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
A bachelor&rsquo;s degree and 5 years of relevant experience in contracts, supply chain, or procurement. Or in lieu of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience in contracts, supply chain, or procurement.</li><li>
Knowledge of government acquisition process with a strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency supplements, such as Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), NASA (NFS).</li><li>
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
Experience with Deltek Costpoint.</li><li>
Self-starter with problem solving skills.</li><li>
Ability to mentor other subcontract professionals of varying levels of experience.</li></ul><p>

Primary Level Salary Range: $78,700.00 - $136,800.00<p></p>
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.<p></p>
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.<p></p>
