You'll be joining our Aurora Software and Electronics/Payloads Department which has ~200 Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Systems Administrators, Database Administrators, Network Engineers, and Engineering Leaders from entry-level to the most senior chief engineers and architects to Product Owners and Scrum Masters. This engineering organization supports numerous programs across Divisions and Business Units of the Space Sector. About the program: You&rsquo;ll be joining a portfolio called Swordfish and one of its on-contract program&rsquo;s we call &ldquo;Starfleet&rdquo; that is supporting a critical national security mission that is both in development and operations. The program team is based in Aurora, CO yet has distributed team members located at several other Northrop Grumman sites across the US as well as at collaborating partner company sites totaling roughly 35. Some of the program&rsquo;s baseline and environments are unclassified allowing some software development outside of our secure facilities yet still on-site and in-person. The overall team is composed of software developers organized into agile scrum teams with Product Owners and Scrum Masters. Staff in Aurora primarily work in two large rooms with cubicle-like individual spaces (rather than in dedicated offices). About the job: This requisition is sourcing a Systems Administrator with Kubernetes experience. A good candidate will have broad SA skills and interests willing to help out a development team of ~35 staff as their primary SA focused on supporting and improving the development to test environments in both unclassified and classified domains.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">

Northrop Grumman&rsquo;s Aeronautics System sector is currently hiring a Special Process Supplier
Quality Engineer. This is a remote opportunity however, candidate must be in the Central or Eastern United States within 45 minutes of a major airport. This position requires extensive travel and the ability to fly commercially on very short notice to meet company commitments.
Overview:
This position is an excellent opportunity for candidates that have background in Nondestructive Testing as a NAS410 certified Level 3 in at least three areas and working knowledge in
one or more of the following Aerospace processes: Heat Treatment, Chemical
Processes/Finishes, Advanced Composites, Welding, or Material Test.
Essential Functions:<ul><li>
Conduct Special Process audits at supplier facilities to verify conformance to Northrop Grumman Engineering and Quality standards.</li><li>
Review and approve supplier Nondestructive Test procedures and techniques</li><li>
Capable of understanding and interpreting specifications/standards/contracts</li><li>
Ensure effective supplier root cause and corrective action</li><li>
Collaborate with program management, engineering, supply chain management, and supplier management teams</li><li>
Travel as needed to support program initiatives</li><li>

Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>
Must have a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree AND 8 years of quality/manufacturing experience OR a Master's degree AND 6 years of quality/manufacturing experience OR a PHD and 4 years of quality/manufacturing experience</li></ul><ul><li>
NAS410 certified Nondestructive Test (NDT) Level 3 in a minimum of three methods including ultrasonic testing of advanced composites</li><li>
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access</li><li>
Must have a Valid State Driver&rsquo;s License to operate a personal motor vehicle and have a dependable motor vehicle to travel to local suppliers.</li><li>
Ability to travel up to 100% of time</li><li>
Proficient in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent</li><li>
Hands on experience and knowledge of critical manufacturing processes including, but not limited to, heat treatment, chemical processes, nondestructive inspection, material test, surface enhancement, welding, and/or composites fabrication</li></ul><ul><li>
Certified AS9100 Quality System Auditor</li><li>
ASQ Certified Quality Auditor</li><li>
Active DoD Secret Clearance (granted or renewed within the past 5 years)</li><li>
Experience participating in the Nadcap accreditation program</li></ul>
Primary Level Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
