Job Title: Cardiology Medical ScribePosition Summary: We are seeking an experienced Medical Scribe to support a busy cardiology practice. This role requires working closely, one-on-one, with the physician in both clinical and exam room settings. The ideal candidate must have prior scribing experience and a strong understanding of medical terminology, cardiology a plus.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Accompany the physician during patient visits and accurately document all aspects of the encounter</li><li>Record patient history, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans in real time</li><li>Ensure accurate and thorough documentation ofc procedures and terminology</li><li>Assist with chart completion, including reviewing and updating patient records</li><li>Enter orders, labs, and diagnostic testing as directed by the physician</li><li>Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines</li><li>Qualifications:</li><li>Required: Prior medical scribe experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology (cardiology knowledge highly preferred)</li><li>Ability to work closely and effectively with a physician in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent listening, typing, and documentation skills</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Familiarity with EMR systems</li><li>Professional demeanor and strong communication skills</li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>Fast-paced cardiology clinic setting</li><li>Direct, one-on-one collaboration with the physician</li><li>In-room documentation during patient visits</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Must have previous scribing experience (no training position available)</li><li>Must be comfortable working in exam rooms with patients and provider</li><li>Ability to multitask and adapt quickly during clinic hours</li></ul>Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
