 The Procurement Analyst will support vendor management services including contract management, vendor conflicts, strategic sourcing, contract review and management, and relationship management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, negotiation skills, and a proven ability to drive efficiency and cost savings.
 
 
 This position reports to the Head of Procurement and Vendor Management. This position is ideally located in Austin, Dallas, or Houston, Texas. The role will require presence in the office from time to time pursuant to the firm&rsquo;s hybrid work policy.
 
 
 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Partner in developing a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the firm's goals and objectives, including policies and procedures for purchasing products and services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in identifying, evaluating and onboarding vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing agreements while ensuring quality and compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain relationships with a specified portfolio of vendors, monitoring performance and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Engage in the contract life-cycle management process, from initial vendor selection to contract negotiation, execution and renewals for a specified portfolio of vendors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with product owners and internal legal counsel to review and negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with firm policies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as ethical standards, in all procurement activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with the Procurement Manager to monitor and analyze procurement spend, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including supplier reliability, compliance and data security for a specified portfolio of vendors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the NDA process, opportunity tracking, and development of category strategies and sourcing plans.
 </li>
 <li>
 Document procurement processes and policies and develop a procurement toolkit.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain the firm&rsquo;s procurement system, Coupa, for all contracts and vendors within the assigned portfolio.

 Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or vendor management, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous Coupa experience is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to build strong trusting relationships with business partners and suppliers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated experience in problem solving, consensus building, and negotiation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with procurement software and systems, such as e-procurement platforms or contract management tools.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of contract law and IT Service Delivery Management (ITIL) preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite in particular data manipulation in Excel and presentation build in PowerPoint.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
