NAME OF POSITION: Head Start and/or Early Head Start Classroom Substitute
Location: 116 main Street, Flemington, NJ
Hours- as needed, not to exceed 8 hours a day
$17.28-$19.59

Responsibilities and Duties<ul><li>Assist classroom staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children and staff.</li><li>Support classroom activities and lesson implementation.</li><li>Promote positive child interactions and development.</li><li>Assist with daily routines and caregiving tasks.</li></ul>
Qualifications
Minimum Education Level: High school diploma working towards CDA to be completed within two years of hire.
Preferred Education Level: Child Development Associate (CDA)- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field.
Experience: Experience working with young children.
Preferred Experience: 2 years' experience in early childhood education and direct experience with at-risk population, Head Start experience.
Personal characteristics: compassionate, organized, flexible, communicator, team-player
Physical abilities: Lift 30 pounds
