&lt;Overview&gt; Our small family business is looking for a Part-time Bookkeeper who thrives on challenge, exhibits extreme attention to detail, and would enjoy a flexible work schedule with minimal distractions. If you are extremely well-organized and confident enough to handle all bookkeeping responsibilities for our business, this may be the perfect position for you.&lt;Responsibilities&gt;<ul><li>Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.</li><li>Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure all transactions are correctly recorded.</li><li>Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice entry, and payment processing.</li><li>Prepare journal entries, conduct balance sheet reconciliation, and support month-end closing activities.</li><li>Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.</li><li>Conduct account analysis and account reconciliation to verify accuracy across all ledgers.</li></ul>&lt;Qualifications&gt;<ul><li>Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles with familiarity in corporate or small business accounting environments.</li><li>Strong proficiency in accounting software.</li><li>Solid understanding of financial concepts including debits &amp; credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger reconciliation.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for account analysis and account reconciliation tasks.</li><li>Ability to work independently.</li></ul>Pay: $24.31 - $29.28 per hourWork Location: Hybrid remote in Des Moines, IA 50313
