<div>The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Shift Bakery Manager works alongside the Bakery Manager and team members to create the highest-quality cakes, a warm, welcoming environment, and superior guest experience. The Shift Leader shares in team leadership and collaborates with the Bakery Manager in driving sales and profitability, executing day-to-day responsibilities and ensuring that all aspects of the bakery operation comply with NbC standards. This role serves as an important carrier of the NbC culture to reinforce core values and bring our brand to life for our team members and guests. 
Accountabilities/Duties:<ul><li>
Prioritizes the guest experience, models superior guest engagement and fosters a positive work environment.</li><li>
Partners with the Bakery Manager in leading all aspects of the guest experience, cake production, brand and merchandise presentation, work environment, P&amp;L management, and inventory control.</li><li>
Supports the Bakery Manager in recruiting, selecting and training team members, directing daily work responsibilities, and providing performance feedback and coaching.</li><li>
Ensures NbC product, service, bakery environment, and visual merchandising standards are consistently upheld and that all bakery operations adhere to food and health safety standards and NbC policies and procedures.</li><li>
Assists the Bakery Manager in executing operational and administrative responsibilities, which may include cake production plans, productivity goal setting, team scheduling, supply ordering, sales and labor reporting, basic accounting and expense control procedures, and payroll processing.</li><li>
Co-manages special-order fulfillment via web and email for individual guests and corporate accounts as well as large, complex orders and deliveries.</li><li>
Co-facilitates the opening and closing of the bakery, including cash-drawer balancing and bank deposits.</li><li>
Contributes to marketing strategy execution in the local community by helping to coordinate and participating in special, brand-building events.</li><li>
Maintains hands-on knowledge of all bakery roles and steps in regularly to perform various responsibilities as business needs dictate.</li></ul>

Shift Bakery Manager

Creates and communicates weekly sales productivity goals, cake production plan, and team schedule, and adjusts bakery coverage based on changing business trends.</li><li>
Sets inventory par levels based on production demand and sales forecast monitors stock levels, processes weekly supply orders and conducts monthly inventory.</li><li>
Ensures NbC product, service, bakery environment, and visual merchandising standards are consistently upheld and that all bakery operations adhere to food and health safety standards and NbC policies and procedures.</li><li>
Manages all controllable expenses, including labor, COGS, maintenance, and supplies, to maximize profitability.</li><li>
Performs administrative functions, including payroll processing, sales, labor and product inventory reporting, and basic accounting procedures.</li></ul>

Following strict proprietary recipes, NbC production methods and food safety standards, the Baker perform the repeated baking process for our delicious cakes offered in a variety of flavors and sizes. The Baker embodies NbC core values and demonstrates a strong commitment to excellence and efficiency in the workplace.
Accountabilities/Duties:<ul><li>
Follows NbC proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision and achieves productivity goals.</li><li>
Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other tools to bake cakes.</li><li>
Accurately prepares raw ingredients and equipment for baking, places cake pans into hot oven and monitors the baking process.</li><li>
Adheres to the proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintains baking and refrigeration logs.</li><li>
Assists Bakery Manager in the development of cake production plan monitors inventory of baking supplies and notifies management when supply replenishment is required.</li><li>
Evaluates raw ingredients and baked cakes to ensure NbC standards are met and informs management of any quality control issues.</li><li>
Cleans sanitizes and restocks the workstation and ensures all baking supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift.</li><li>
Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.</li><li>

Hours of Work: The Manager position is a full-time position and operates within the normal business hours of Nothing Bundt Cakes and might also requires work outside of such normal business hours, as the job duties demand. The salaried position requires a minimum of 42 hours worked per week during non-holiday weeks and all months excluding November and December. Any week leading up to and including holidays require a minimum of 55 hours per week in-bakery at any location in need of additional support. Work on Saturdays is required when necessary, primarily during holiday weeks.</li></ul>
