JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB TITLE: CustodianREPORTS TO: PrincipalHOURS: 7 AM - 11 AMSUMMARY: Responsible for general janitorial and maintenance of school including any and all buildings.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>General janitorial and maintenance care of the school including cleaning classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, gyms, locker rooms, and cafeteria.</li><li>Snow removal from sidewalks and steps.</li><li>Insure that bathrooms are clean and have sufficient supplies.</li><li>Check trash containers and remove trash as needed.</li><li>Setup, tear down and cleanup for special school events.</li><li>Painting, stripping and waxing of hallways and classrooms during the summer.</li><li>Other responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent and previous experience preferred.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stoop, climb and reach.Ability to keep building areas orderly and clean.Job Type: Part-timePay: $16.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
