</ul><div><div><b>POSITION SUMMARY</b></div>
<div>This position is a dual-focus role that serves as the Tribe&rsquo;s lead visual storyteller and technical A/V expert. The primary objective is to produce high-quality, culturally resonant video content that preserves NHBP history and engages the community. Additionally, this position ensures the technical integrity of the organization&rsquo;s audio-visual infrastructure, providing seamless support for Tribal government operations and special events. The incumbent will be the lead person shooting/editing/producing video narratives in support of the Tribe and operating, maintaining and troubleshooting A/V equipment and software used in the production and distribution of A/V, multimedia, video programs and video conferencing equipment for all NHBP facilities.</div>
<div></div><div><b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</b></div>
<div></div><div><ul><li><b>Narrative Production</b>
<ul><li>Lead the end-to-end production of documentary-style features, social media shorts, and archival projects.</li>
<li>Create compelling stories, conduct empathetic interviews with Elders and Members, and deliver a polished final product.</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li><b>Cultural Documentation</b>
<ul><li>Act as a guardian of Tribal history by filming significant community events such as gatherings and documenting oral histories with a deep respect for protocol and sensitivity.</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li><b>Live Event Technical Lead</b>
<ul><li>Plan and execute the A/V strategy for major events (e.g., Pow Wows, General Membership Meetings).</li>
<li>Set up sound reinforcement, live-streaming feeds, and visual displays in diverse environments.</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li><b>Infrastructure Excellence</b>
<ul><li>Design, troubleshoot, and maintain the organization&rsquo;s A/V systems, including digital signage and conference room systems.</li>
<li>Ensure that technology is an &quot;invisible&quot; support that never distracts from the work of the Tribal government.</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li><b>Empowerment through Training</b>
<ul><li>Create simple, accessible &quot;how-to&quot; guides and provide hands-on training to staff to ensure they are confident using departmental A/V tools and conferencing software.</li>
</ul></li></ul></div><div></div><div><b>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</b></div>
<div></div><div><ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s Degree in Video Production, Film, Multimedia, or related education, or 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.</li></ul>
<ul><li>3 years of professional experience which includes:
<ul><li>Operating cinema-grade or DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, field audio equipment (lavaliers, boom mics), A/V system operations (including audio mixing and processing at appropriate volume levels, AV switching, control systems, video encoding, and video on demand), and lighting kits.</li>
<li>Expert-level editing in video and image editing software.</li>
<li>Setting up and &quot;breaking down&quot; A/V hardware&mdash;mixers, speakers, and cabling&mdash;and a basic understanding of A/V-over-IP or conferencing software.</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li>Provide a demo reel or portfolio of work which includes examples of storytelling, clean audio, and high-quality editing<b>.</b></li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain a valid Driver&rsquo;s License and be eligible to operate GSA vehicles.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Knowledge of current A/V components technologies and techniques including video conferencing and remote group collaboration equipment.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience working with vendors that supplement videographer and multimedia services.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Lead A/V responsibility experience within a corporate or government setting.</li></ul>
