Job Summary:The BBQ Section Chef is responsible for preparing, grilling, and presenting high-quality BBQ dishes according to the restaurant&rsquo;s standards. He/she ensures proper food handling, hygiene, and efficient operation of the BBQ section while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare and cook BBQ items such as grilled meats, chicken, seafood, and vegetables according to recipes and standards.</li><li>Marinate and season meats following approved recipes and portion control guidelines.</li><li>Operate and maintain BBQ grills, ovens, and related kitchen equipment safely.</li><li>Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the BBQ section at all times as per food safety regulations.</li><li>Monitor stock levels and inform the kitchen supervisor for timely replenishment.</li><li>Reduce food wastage by proper storage and portion control.</li><li>Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) method for food storage.</li><li>Assist in menu planning and suggest new BBQ items when required.</li><li>Coordinate with other kitchen staff for smooth service operations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.</li><li>Handle peak hours efficiently while maintaining quality and speed of service.</li></ul>Requirements &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Proven experience as a BBQ Chef or Grill Chef in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.</li><li>Knowledge of BBQ techniques, marinades, and grilling temperatures.</li><li>Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Physically fit to stand for long hours and work near hot equipment.</li><li>Certification in Food Safety (preferred).</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Expertise in grilling and BBQ preparation</li><li>Time management and multitasking</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Clean and organized working style</li><li>Ability to work under pressure</li></ul>Working Conditions:<ul><li>Shift-based work (morning/evening)</li><li>Standing for long hours near heat and smoke</li><li>Weekend and holiday duty as required</li></ul>Send CV 71404048Job Type: Full-timePay: From QAR2,200.00 per month
