The Logistics Documentation Specialist will be responsible for generating, managing all aspects of logistics documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and standards. This role requires a thorough understanding of SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP Transportation Management (SAPTM), as well as expertise in handling dangerous goods, trade agreements, and certificates of origin. The ideal candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure efficient and accurate documentation processes.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

1. Documentation Management:</b></div><div>
o Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.</div><div>
o Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and standards.</div><div>
o Experience in Letter of Credit and other payment terms.</div><div>
o Freight Invoice, Bills of Lading, Shipping Bills,
</div><div>o Creating Standard reports on Open Orders, closed order &amp; Inventory availability and posting transactions on SAP.</div><div>
o Coordinate with the chamber of commerce to authenticate necessary documents.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
2. SAP - Invoicing and Billing, Trade Agreements and Compliance</b></div><div>
o Utilize SAP S/4HANA and SAP Transportation Management (SAPTM) for efficient logistics operations.</div><div>
o Maintain accurate data within SAP systems, ensuring real-time information flow.</div><div>
o Handle the preparation and processing of invoices and relevant documentation.</div><div>
o Ensure accuracy in billing and adherence to compliances.</div><div>
o Stay updated with international trade agreements and their implications on logistics processes.</div><div>
o Ensure compliance with all relevant trade agreements and regulations.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
5. Dangerous Goods Handling:</b></div><div>
o Ensure proper classification, documentation, and handling of dangerous goods according to regulatory requirements.</div><div>
o Provide guidance and training to relevant stakeholders on dangerous goods regulations.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
6. Stakeholder Collaboration:</b></div><div>
o Work closely with internal teams such as regional logistics hub, sales, customer service, and finance to ensure seamless logistics operations.</div><div>
o Liaise with external partners including freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Qualifications and Skills required:</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in any stream or Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.</li><li>
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics documentation and operations.</li><li>
Proficiency in SAP systems, specifically SAP S/4HANA and SAP Transportation Management (SAPTM).</li><li>
Strong understanding of international trade regulations, trade agreements, and compliance requirements.</li><li>
Experience in handling dangerous goods and related documentation.</li><li>
Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.</li><li>
Knowledge of EXIM, Commercial Terms</li><li>
SAP and intermediate Excel</li><li>
Preparation of reports using MS Excel Pivot, PPT, Power BI etc.</li></ul><ul><li>
Excellent organizational and communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Written and Verbal Communication Skills (Fluency in English language is mandatory)</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

</div><div><b>Brief Summary</b></div><div>
The International Logistics P2P Process Improvement Specialist will support the US International team to facilitate payment of freight invoices. This Specialist will work with Freight Forwarders Ocean Carriers, Railroads, and Truckers to prevent delays in invoice payment as well as having the opportunity to make an impact on harmonization of processes and procedures.</div><div></div><div><br>
This position will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day shipment/transportation activities. If freight invoices are not maintained to appropriate balance due amounts with the various service providers our service levels drop rapidly.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
In your future role as &ldquo;Logistics Specialist &ndash; Freight &rdquo; you will</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Key Responsibilities:</b></div><div><b><br>
</b></div><ul><li>Coordinate US based international freight payment process, ensuring compliance with<b> </b>Nouryon policies and procedures and ultimately ensure that the financial compliance program for the company is supported.</li><li>
Manage 75-100 freight invoices daily within the TMS and other sources. (18,000-24,000/year and $50 million in annual spend)</li><li>
Work with service providers to resolve invoice errors to facilitate correct and timely final payments.
</li><li>Reconcile service providers statements of accounts to keep them aligned with our payment flows.</li><li>
Maintain constant communication with internal business partners and service providers.</li><li>
Maintain data for metrics and analytics.</li><li>
Perform other duties assigned as needed.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
