<div>Job description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lumber Order Puller to join our team. This role involves pulling lumber and millwork by hand from the warehouse for shipment, using an RF scanner to ensure accuracy. Responsibilities include measuring in linear feet, verifying product counts, labeling, building pallets, and delivering completed loads to designated areas. The ideal candidate should be familiar with lumber and millwork products, able to lift heavy loads repeatedly, and work closely with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm (Some overtime expected)
Pay: $20.25/hr.
Additional earning potential through order pulling bonus (up to 50%. on top of the hourly rate) *
Essential Responsibilities<ul><li>
Scan locations and pull products using an RF Scanner to fulfill customer orders safely and effectively.</li><li>
Ensures all units are organized, leveled, and tightly built for transport.</li><li>
Communicate any discrepancies, product issues, or safety issues with the Supervisor.</li><li>
Place the completed and labeled order into the designated area once the order is fulfilled.</li><li>
Maintains a clean work area, sweeping, rebinding loose bundles, etc.</li><li>
Successfully passes all Novo tugger training and operates a tugger following all safety requirements established within Novo.</li></ul>
Basic Qualifications (Required)<ul><li>
Effectively performs all essential functions, including physical requirements.</li><li>
Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company-approved tools while remaining aware of hazards. and maintaining a safe work environment Ability to move awkward product lengths and weights.</li><li>
Basic math, interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills.</li><li>
Ability to read, understand, and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.</li><li>
Must be 18 years of age or older.</li><li>
Flexibility in scheduling &ndash; able to work overtime as needed.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Prior experience driving industrial-powered equipment.</li><li>
High School Diploma and GED</li></ul>

NOVO Building Products currently has an opening for an OTR CDL-A Truck Driver for our distribution warehouse in Lakeland, FL. Dedicated truck, regional/local routes. Home weekends, no touch loads. Our CDL-A Drivers deliver millwork products to customers in a designated region. This position is NOT home nightly but is home every weekend. CDL-A Drivers receive: Hourly Pay! $19 - 28/hr. based on experience $5,000 Sign On Bonus $45 per diem for any overnights Health Benefits at 60 days! 401k with generous company match 9 Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Home every weekend!! Newer (dedicated) tractors and trailers Trailer with Side Curtains Paid Breaks, fueling time, trip inspections Additionally, our drivers have: No touch freight and no lumpers No Backhauls Less than 30 minutes wait when unloading Dependable/driver-focused dispatch Essential Responsibilities Drives tractor-trailers or straight trucks to deliver materials and merchandise to customers as directed by the Logistics Department. Performs inspection of tractor and trailer before each start drive and post-drive per company and DOT (Department of Transportation) policies and regulations. Communicate any discrepancies, product issues, or safety issues with the Fleet Supervisor. Keeps required fuel, stop-per-mile, trip sheets, and DOT e-logs accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with all regulatory requirements Adheres to all DOT and Company safety and traffic regulations. Scales load before departure of home domicile Supervises the unloading of materials at their destination and maintains all delivery/pick-up related paperwork, noting and reporting discrepancies on Bills of Lading, delivery tickets, and other company-required documents. Opens and closes curtains and secures loads by ratcheting down straps on trailers to facilitate loading and unloading multiple times per route. May assist in duties within the warehouse, meeting requirements of material handler position. Perform other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications CDL Class A certification Effectively perform all essential functions, including physical requirements. Acceptable motor vehicle record. Basic math, interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills Ability to read, understand, and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions. Must be 18 years of age or older.
