Job Description</b></div><ul><li>
Maintain our safe working environment with participation in company-wide safety procedures, training and safety programs. Set-up and operate several different brands of CNC vertical milling machine tools in 3, 4 and 5 axis configurations. Simple programming at the controls is required for set-ups.</li><li>
G &amp; M coding experience required.</li><li>
Must be able to communicate machine set up parameters, troubleshoot set-up and operational issues working closely with shop leadership.</li><li>
Conduct proper inspection of first run and in-process parts.</li><li>
Train other department personnel of lower classifications on essentials of their jobs and provide the shop manager / shift feedback on individual performance of individuals with whom the machinist trains.</li><li>
Must do general housekeeping of manufacturing areas and equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment. This includes sweeping and mopping of the production area, wiping down the machines and removal and disposal of waste and rubbish.</li><li>
Accurate record keeping in shop floor management software.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Qualifications</b></div><ul><li>
High School Diploma</li><li>
Higher education in machining is preferred. (i.e., Machinist Certificate; MIMS Certificate)</li><li>
Minimum of 3-5 years directly relatable experience in CNC vertical machine tool set-up and operation for manufacture of complex precision components. Must possess outstanding skills in complex set-up of 2D and 3D milled tooling components. 3D mold machining experience a plus.</li><li>
Must have Fanuc and/or Mazak based control experience. Ability to learn 4th axis set-up and programming.</li><li>
Must be experienced with proper use and care of precision measuring equipment including various outside/inside/depth micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, height gauge, dial bore gauge, etc.</li><li>
Must possess ability to read and interpret blueprints.</li><li>
Must be able to read, write, and apply practical shop math.</li><li>
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.</li><li>
Manual machinist skills a plus.</li><li>

Natural Team Leader, will support the Team Leaders in accomplishing the overall team&rsquo;s mission and lead natural work teams in day to day operations. Responsibilities also include leading teams in the areas of productivity, safety, and quality and team effectiveness. The responsibilities will be in addition to existing job responsibilities. The Natural Team Leader will be required to fill in/cover for the Dispatch/Team Leader during absences, vacations, and other periods of leave. This position will also be required to work overtime.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Receiving/Put-Away: Safely unload inbound shipments, dragline carts and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.</li><li>
Quality: Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.</li><li>
Order Picking: Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.</li><li>
Loading: Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars or trailers.</li><li>
Equipment: Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment. Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put away, and load functions, as required. Maintain the facility&rsquo;s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.</li><li>
Inventory: Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.</li><li>
Safety, Sanitation, Security: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.</li><li>
Maintenance: Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required.</li><li>
Maintain data integrity within plant manufacturing or warehouse departments.</li><li>
Assist in the development and implementation of the location's system for managing data and the ongoing training and coaching of associates to meet required needs.</li><li>

Hot Press Operator:</b></div><ul><li>
Follows all documented safety, quality, and production procedures.</li><li>
Responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of the mechanical hot press to achieve production goals.</li><li>
Restores flow if the hot press stops or encounters issues.
</li><li>Troubleshoot and communicate mechanical issues to the Hot Press Mechanic and management.</li><li>
Identifies and removes defective cartons by observing the decline conveyor leading to the Hot Press and the outfeed.</li><li>
Responsible for immediately responding to and addressing alarms concerning carton jams.</li><li>
As needed, assist in hand-feeding cartons into the line to increase productivity and decrease scrap.</li><li>
