We are currently seeking a Safety Technician to add to our HSE team. The ideal candidate will have education, training, and experience in the construction field commensurate with the intended duties coupled with a high level of passion, commitment, and dedication to the health and well-being of others. 


Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Support the project's HSE initiatives and programs.</li>
<li>Support and conduct jobsite inspections to identify and initiate corrective actions and document observed safe and unsafe work practices or conditions.</li>
<li>Participate in the incident investigation and causal analysis processes.</li>
<li>Assist employees and crews in the planning, recognition, evaluation, and mediation of risk through the PTP process.</li>
<li>Build knowledge and understanding of applicable legislative, client, and Nox policies and procedures applicable to the project.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively and regularly with Nox personnel and trade partners, visitors, and vendors.</li>
<li>Provide first aid as necessary and to the limits of training and ability.</li>
<li>Support the needs of the Project HSE Department.</li>
<li>Engage in site and crew meetings.</li>
<li>Spend 90% of time in the field and/or supporting field operations.</li></ul> 


Qualifications
<ul><li>Understanding of basic construction work practices.</li>
<li>Good written and verbal communication (includes use of proper grammar, spelling, etc.).</li>
<li>Ability to interact with both craft and supervisory employees.</li>
<li>High level of integrity for reporting incidents and events, as well as upholding company policy, personal activities, etc.</li>
<li>Ability to complete basic safety-related tasks with little direction after initial assignment.</li>
<li>Ability to understand HSE plans, standards, etc.</li>
<li>Ability to support and enforce field in compliance with policy, standards, regs, etc. in a professional manner.</li>
<li>Ability to objectively audit compliance in the workplace.</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50 pounds, unassisted, frequently throughout the day.</li>
<li>Ability to work from various heights via ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and other safe work platforms and area.</li>
<li>Able to work a 40-hour work week, with overtime and off-hour shifts as required.</li>
<li>Able to work in extreme weather conditions and elements, indoor or outdoor, including heat, cold, rain, mud, dust, and snow depending on the job location.</li></ul> 


Education &amp; Certifications
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED.</li>
<li>3+ years of construction field/craft experience.</li>
<li>OSHA 30 Hour for Construction, STS-C, or NCCER Field Safety.</li>
<li>NFPA 70E trained.</li>
<li>Current training in FA/CPR/AED.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint</li></ul>

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support our QAQC Department team in Reno, Nevada. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play an essential role in ensuring our installations comply with National and City codes, customer design specifications, and Corbins' expectation of &quot;First Class Work&quot;. You will be supporting the most challenging and exciting projects in the Southwest, including commercial, industrial, mission-critical and water/wastewater treatment facilities.

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Develop an understanding of the electrical project scope, quality requirements, quality plan, and quality documents pertaining to the assigned scope of work including applicable codes and standards.</li>
<li>Coordinate with operations to schedule and perform quality inspections and tests to maintain production goals.</li>
<li>Prepare inspection/test reports and maintain the quality files related to area of responsibility.</li>
<li>Verify inspection and test compliance with applicable contract documents, codes, and standards.</li>
<li>Correctly interpret and utilize codes and industry standards to determine compliance of the work.</li>
<li>Assist the project team with completion of required test documentation.</li>
<li>Organize quality documents and store per the company and project document management procedures.</li>
<li>Identify, report, and correct nonconforming work in accordance with the company quality standards and the Project Quality Plan.</li>
<li>Perform receiving inspection of permanent materials and plant equipment for project requirements as needed.</li>
<li>Be involved in and provide quality input to task planning meetings.</li>
<li>Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost saving measures that arise or that may be encountered. Take corrective actions as needed.</li>
<li>Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective actions to eliminate or minimize hazards.</li>
<li>Understand and respond appropriately to all safety hazards and warning devices (i.e. back-up alarms, smell of smoke, different colored warning tags, warning sirens)</li>
<li>Understand and implement lockout/tagout procedures in safe manner.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>5+ years working in the industrial electrical industry.</li>
<li>Experience maintaining effective communications (both orally and written) with supervisor, coworkers, and the project management team.</li>
<li>Experience developing strong working relationship with supervisor, coworkers, and the project management team.</li>
<li>Electrical code and standards knowledge</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and follow-through.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li>
<li>Must be a self-starter, be organized, and have good interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to fifty pounds, unassisted, as required.</li>
<li>Ability to work from various heights via ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and other safe work platforms and area when necessary.</li>
<li>Able to work a 40-hour work week, with overtime and off-hour shifts as required.</li>
<li>Ability for stand for long periods of time in one place.</li>
<li>Ability to walk jobsites throughout the day.</li>
