 Role Summary
 
 
 
 The expert will provide technical inputs for recycling technologies, value chain optimisation, and infrastructure assessments within circular economy sectors.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Review prefeasibility and detailed design studies for circular economy infrastructure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Help identify technological solutions for recycling, material recovery, and circular value chains.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assess technical feasibility of investment proposals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide technical contributions to project formulation and appraisal.
 </li>

 Qualifications &amp; Experience
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Education
 
 
 
 :
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in
 
 Engineering (Environmental, Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical), Materials Science, or related fields
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Master&rsquo;s degree is an asset.
 </li>

 Experience
 
 
 
 :
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum
 
 7 years
 
 of experience with recycling technologies, material recovery, industrial processes, or circular economy infrastructure.
 </li>
 <li>
 At least
 
 3 years
 
 supporting feasibility studies or engineering assessments in international or development contexts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in designing or reviewing technical feasibility studies is highly desirable.
 </li>

 Strong engineering and problem-solving capability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with circular value chain technologies and industrial symbiosis.

 The expert will support the development of enabling policies, regulatory frameworks, and institutional capacities for circular economy transitions in partner countries.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities

 Analyse and develop circular economy policies, strategies, and action plans.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support policy dialogue with governments, institutions, and EU Delegations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct assessments of legislative and institutional frameworks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Draft policy briefs, guidelines, and strategic recommendations.
 </li>

 of experience in circular economy policy development or environmental policy reform.

 working with government ministries, public institutions, or international cooperation programmes.

 <li>
 Experience drafting policy frameworks, regulatory analyses, or strategies.
 </li>

 Strong understanding of circular economy systems, regulatory instruments, and EU policy principles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to prepare high-quality policy documents and present recommendations to stakeholders.
